We can now proudly announce our second Official Fantasy Football Scout Game with the opening of the Metro Fantasy Football Scout League.
We’re also chuffed to reveal that we’ve sealed a prize for the winner of our league – we were of course looking for a digital camera but the Metro threw in one of those fancy Apple iPad things instead. That’ll do nicely.
Plenty to play for then and certainly some incentive to prise yourself away from the Fantasy Premier League player list for ten minutes to sort a Metro team.
You can sign up for the Metro Fantasy Football game right here. You’ll then need to join our mini-league using the following details:
League Name: FF Scout Premiership
PIN: 8001947
As you may know we’ve been searching around for a second game to back here on the site and, after careful consideration, we’ve opted for the Metro’s offering.
Many of you enjoyed the Metro World Cup experience, not least Andy who won our Scout League and ranked an impressive 20th place overall. He’ll fancy himself as the man to beat here then although there’s no way we can possibly let him get his greasy finger marks all over a new iPad.
Andy’s partly to blame for all this. His review of the Metro game revealed it as a solid effort with a rule and feature set that offered a genuinely different experience to the Fantasy Premier League game. You can read Andy’s full verdict of the Metro game right here.
The game has a lot going for it, not least the fact that it’s free and has some decent prize money on offer. If you sign up you will of course be eligible for the Metro’s £15,000 overall winner prize that’s on offer, plus there’s a grand a month given away to Manager of the Month.
There is one caveat, like a good few UK based Fantasy Games, the Metro is not open to registrations from overseas. Only residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland can sign up.
Apologies in advance to the growing population of the Central African Republic.
The rest of you can sign up to our league now. I’ll see you in the comfortable haven of mid-table.
