The beginning of the end (of August, that is) starts this afternoon as our first month of fantasy management welcomes it’s final week – gameweek three. And with that, a whole host of games look to welcome your gasps, yelps and sighs, starting with Blackburn versus Arsenal…
Fabregas and Van Persie are both fit enough to make their first starts for Arsenal this season, coming into the side with Koscielny for Wilshere, Chamakh and Rosicky. The hosts Blackburn meanwhile give Mame Diouf his first start in the Premier League following on from his Carling Cup hat-trick, Phil Jones continues his role as defensive midfielder and David Dunn is only fit enough for the bench…
Blackburn XI: Robinson; Salgado, Nelsen, Samba, Givet; El-Hadji Diouf, Jones, Pedersen, Grella; Mame Diouf, Kalinic
Arsenal XI: Almunia; Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Clichy; Song, Diaby, Fabregas; Walcott, Van-Persie, Arshavin
After Big Sam’s men have put the boot into Arsenal we’ve got four 3pm kick-offs to carry us through the day, with Tottenham and Chelsea hosting Wigan and Stoke respectively the ones to determine many fantasy dreams or nightmares this week.
If you don’t have the sense to watch the “mighty” Leicester City take down Reading (sorry RaspingDrive) through your television screens, then rounding out our Saturday fare will be Manchester United playing host to West Ham as the Scout backed Dimitar Berbatov and ill of form Wayne Rooney look to put the stuttering Hammers to the sword.
As always, the Dugout Discussion is now open to talk away all the days action.
