A game being billed as the most important Merseyside derby in years kicks off a double bill of Sunday afternoon fixtures. NESV-owned Liverpool travel up the road to city rivals Everton, with both sides looking for only their second win of the campaign.

Everton will already be confident of inflicting defeat on their arch-rivals for the first time in the league for over four years, but that confidence will be bolstered with the team news. Jamie Carragher fills in at right-back for the injured Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard partners Lucas Leiva in defensive midfield and Phil Jagielka passes a late fitness test to play…

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Heitinga, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Yakubu

Liverpool XI: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Cole, Maxi, Torres

The final game of the day sees Manchester City visit Bloomfield Road, with most fantasy-managers praying for contrasting returns for a certain Argentinian. That game kicks off at 4pm.

      he's so jammy it hurts. at least last season he was scoring good goals. this season i'm not buying him because he hasn't overly impressed me, seemingly relying on luck for goals. i may need to reconsider

    Just outside the top 1000 with Samba left. 50 this week so far is low scoring & with autosubs & emergency captains, it only going to get worse. Might win my FFS H2H with Samba getting 3 points more than Jones. Cup run is over. 🙁

    How Tevez gets 3 bps and Silva gets none is outrageous. Tevez is soooo lucky it is unreal and he was balls until Silva came on and even after that he didnt play that well. Neither of his goals should have counted and both of them were lucky, there is no way he meant the first one and the second took a massive deflection.

    Silva, on the other hand, was quality actually looked like a footballer when he had the ball and his goal was amazing, he also completely changed the game. But it is also good to know that the BP judges were actually watching the game.

          I'm a little disappointed this week as I thought Fabregas was coming back and was going to reap a nice haul - as you say the majority of people still don't have him so I was looking forward to smugging it up ach well there's always next week.
          Beginning to become concerned with the downward trend though, may need to reconsider my side.

    Would just like to say thanks to the scout team on here. Finally after four seasons of crap starts (found the site GW5 last season), I have always been playing catch up. Always had brilliant second halves of the season, but the crap starts left me with too much to do.

    A brilliant start this season has me at 538th in the world and storming all my mini leagues. Cheers!
