While Charles N’Zogbia gets all the attention from the Fantasy Premier League Bonus Point decision makers, he will go on attracting the interest of Fantasy Managers. The Frenchman takes his place in my Picks this week, but for a while I was deliberating taking a gamble on Wigan’s Spanish playmaker Jordi Gomez.

A firm favourite of Roberto Martinez, Gomez has established himself in the support role playing off the lone striker in recent weeks and our Members’ Opta stats tables show that he’s taken his opportunity. Gomez is firing in shots, playing his part at set-plays and generally having a significant influence on Wigan’s attacking ploys.

A home fixture with Bolton this weekend offers Roberto Martinez’ side further opportunity to make strides. If we see goals at the DW Stadium, then N’Zogbia will likely have a hand in one or two but I also suspect that Gomez will get in on the act. At 4.8 he offers a budget prospect and with just a fraction of FPL owners, Gomez is the definition of a differential.

Evening peeps,

Boy, am I having one of those nights tonight...
Anyway, planning on leaving this week’s team as is. Defence a bit dodgy with Samba out and holding breath on having x 2 Brummy defenders in this week. However, then plan to do 2 x transfers next week:

a. Parker and Chamakh out
VDV and Elmander in
or
b. Chamakh and Nasri out
Fabs and Varney in

I decided to use my 2 free transfers this week. I went Drogba to Torres for a differential. Captain Torres to score a hat trick! I also decided enough was enough for Malouda, he's gone and in comes Brunt. I was going to go Adam or N'Zog but assumed everyone would have them.

Two free transfers for this GW. Thinkin about bringin in the real differentials.... N'Zogbia and Coleman. Kolo Toure and Arshavin are the players I'm about transfer out. I may be bringin Fabregas in for the next GW. Is there anyone else I should consider (short/medium/long or whatever term) ? Am I missing some real bargains (Bosingwa,Kolarov..???), must haves etc ? I could also do Malouda-> Fabs for the next GW so it's not that important to release some money.. obv I'll be scouting Malouda and Fabs at this GW so im not 100% sure about the next weeks transfers.

  Not much wrong with that, but highly risky to bin Malouda before the Wolves game. I do like Varney up front and he may come in for me instead of Carroll (to free up cash).
  
  Bale is definitely class but VdV is dominating the action areas when Spurs play - that could change but a definite pattern has already emerged.
  
  Arteta is subject to a late fitness test by the way.
