While Charles N’Zogbia gets all the attention from the Fantasy Premier League Bonus Point decision makers, he will go on attracting the interest of Fantasy Managers. The Frenchman takes his place in my Picks this week, but for a while I was deliberating taking a gamble on Wigan’s Spanish playmaker Jordi Gomez.

A firm favourite of Roberto Martinez, Gomez has established himself in the support role playing off the lone striker in recent weeks and our Members’ Opta stats tables show that he’s taken his opportunity. Gomez is firing in shots, playing his part at set-plays and generally having a significant influence on Wigan’s attacking ploys.

A home fixture with Bolton this weekend offers Roberto Martinez’ side further opportunity to make strides. If we see goals at the DW Stadium, then N’Zogbia will likely have a hand in one or two but I also suspect that Gomez will get in on the act. At 4.8 he offers a budget prospect and with just a fraction of FPL owners, Gomez is the definition of a differential.

Fairly happy with my team but thinking Nasri > NZog is worth a 4 point hit.

Likely to be doing it next week anyway as part of a Malouda > Fab swap (so a hit at some point) but not sure if best to do this week as Arsenal might struggle against a strong city defence and Wigan could get a couple home against Bolton.

Any thoughts?

Already did Arshavin-> N'Zog but I've still got a free transfer. Kolo Toure-> Coleman, Carrol-> Tevez and -4p ? And then based on this GWs performances keep Malouda (no Fabs) or Malouda-> Fabs for the next GW. My two main rivals have got Tevez so I think I'll need some cover..

I'm so weak just took a 12 point hit as had only 1 def playing. i dont count foley as he is likely to lose points!! brought in adam, coleman, konchesky and already had done bale to vdv earlier in the week. hoping konch to get a cleano which would be +2 points, then need adam to outscore caroll by 3 and it would have been worth it. or should i just use my wildcard?!?!?!?
