A day later than promised (just double-checking there were no discrepancies with JohnSteed01’s GW9 score), the third round draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III, sponsored by Paddy Power, has been made. The 64 ties, that will be played over GW10, can be viewed right here, and for a brief round-up of some of the fixtures read on…

The first match-up out of the hat is arguably the headline act, as Don Corleone faces Anorak. Filling the undercard is Dbronaldo‘s game against atx1303 (who boasts an extremely impressive history), Daniel.mf Vs. Bigstevehoward, and a few others.

I had best mention bill badger‘s match-up against Bigmidders, after bill badger has seemingly accrued somewhat of a cult following on the site, and his followers will be eager to know of his opponent.

Last week’s top-scorer The Plutocrat has a very winnable tie against guillermo, who currently sits 168,115th in the world. The first round top-scorer beeduybe is still in the competition and takes on a confident gooner dave, after his win over jms in round two.

Our former-champion watch, which has halved in size since last week, sees FFS Cup I champ donnellyc take on kings of kafirstan.

Another dwindling feature of this round-up, is the look at the fortunes of the site contributors. The sole representative, Granville, has been drawn against dinglea.

Good luck to all the 128 fantasy managers battling it out this weekend in the third round, and I’ll bring you the results on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I think he knew what he was doing, the way he struck the ball was aimed for the keeper who was way out of his line...and been a bit lazy

Good to see the cup fixtures released! Looks like i've got a tough match up this round. Looks like it's gonna come down to the defenders & captain choice (if different)
On a side note, anyone know what time the Ancelotti press conference is today? 12-12:30?

    Krul (Foster)
    Coleman Mummy Konchesky (Dann Knight)
    Fabs Nani Adam Dempsey Bale
    Drogba Carroll (Tevez)

Should I take a hit to ditch Tevez? And if so, who for?

it's only a dead leg! he's a machine! I reckon this break was as much about letting him pop home to see his baby as about his injury! I was more worried that he was going to stay in argentina for 3 weeks. Mancini seems to suggest that wont be the case

I am afraid I relented and sold him last night for Chamakh. Lost 0.3 in value which stung a little but I am confident I will recoup more than the 4 points it cost this weekend. Providing NZog doesn't go to town at Fulham.

    Morning all
Hmm the Stoke pox makes Everton a better investment. Can't really pick a striker (Yakubu misfiring badly, Saha made of the glassiest glass), so that means midfield and defence. Arteta is the obvious and Cahill is capable of scoring but never seems to get big hauls. I have been thinking of their defenders, Baines too pricey and Jagielka is slightly too rich too. Coleman is a good bargain but surely too rotatable? So basically I might go for Distin, logical or diabolical?

Surely the differential is having Fabregas. His ownership is less than 10%. Malouda's ownership is more than 40%. You do the math.

    1) How come Walcott has gone up in price? He's far from a certain starter this week.

    2) What's the Bill Badger thing about? Was away so missed it I think.

    3) How's this team for this week:

    Jaas
    A.Cole Samba Simpson
    Fabregas (c) Malouda Nani VDV
    Drogba Carroll Elmander

    Foster Nzog Jara Gohouri

I've not set down on that route yet, got Elmander in this week, fancy him to score his first home goal this season (against our shoddy defense) I am worried about some games when I have to drop one of my front 8, not happy about not play Nzog this week, may have to drop one soon to make it easier.

    Morning folks,
Does this team (and subs) look okay for this week:
    Foster
    Cashley-Boswinga-Coleman
    Nani-Fabregas(c)-Nasri-Brunt
    Carroll-Hernandez-Drogba

    AlHabsi-NZogbia-Elmo-Simpson

    Agree with subs?
Also, on WC so if you can see any potential transfers that would improve my team, please let me know!
    Thanks

No...I would stick with Berbatov for the whole season now.

RVP is class, but more risk of rotation. Plus Berbatov is cheaper.

I also rate Dann more than Carr
