It’s time for Monday Night Football to bedazzle our television screens once more as we look forward to Blackpool hosting West Brom. Not many people would have expected that sentiment even at the beginning of the season, but this has the making of a great game, and if the past is any indication we’ll be in for a hum dinger of a game as the two respective fixtures last season saw 10 goals in total.

Nil-nil is clearly on the cards then now that’s jinxed, and the team news let’s us know that Charlie Adam has recovered from his stitched up ankle to pass muster for Blackpool while Elliot Grandin comes in for Marlon Harewood. On the back of his two goal haul at Leicester (damn him), Simon Cox comes in with Pablo Ibanez for the injured duo of James Morrison and Jonas Olsson for the traveling West Brom. Peter Odemwingie is nowhere to be seen, still…

        Not all his passing was bad. He would have had a few assists if the other players could finish. He had so much of the ball in the middle of the field.

This has been a pretty sick GW for me to deal with. Against the guy in my cup, this happens:

Ivanovic scores in 84', Newcastle concedes in the 90', Bolton concedes in the 86', Young hits the post in the last minute almost taking away Ridgewells CS, Chamakh for some reason I will never understand gets 1BP and Fabs (C) none, Nani hits the crossbar in the ending, Adam actually ends up playing, gets a bs penalty, almost misses it, West brom lose two men, making it extremely unlikely for Adam to concede a goal, which he actually does, and I still lead by two points, but no, Adam gets 2BP (which is seriously absurd; Mulumbu got none!) and we draw.

      I sold Nolan in one of my teams a couple of weeks ago. Wouldn't be surprised to see him being the biggest riser this week with his 38 points I think. Captained Malouda with both teams so I stuffed up abit.

58 is pretty decent in an average scoring gameweek like this. A lot of the big points came from some fairly leftfield sources.
