Its all mind games. All or vast amjority of the doubtful players for United will start and I wouldn't even bother with that Tevez news as it was from The Mail (yawn).

Psychological, I guess. If United players think there's even a remote chance that Tevez might not play then they see him come out onto the pitch, it gives a mental advantage to City. No matter how slight.
Doesn't count for toffee if it makes United bond together and put on a performance though.

1 thing to remember with regards to Tevez - if he's in the country he'll start.
I think there's been 3 or 4 instances when he was unlikely to play apart from when he went abroad, and he started everyone.
I'd happily put a £50 wager on 2/1 odds.

I nearly plumped for VDV and the armband last night but bottled it - I dreaded the half time haul off let alone 59mins!
I think you should be OK though as he'll be chomping at the bit and hes been out so long he needs game time now. Carlo wouldn't chuck him straight back in, they've taken their time with him and brought him back steadily. I don't believe he has played a full 90 since returning (off the top of my head, could be wrong) so that is the next step and a nice home game – With a likely absence for Alex, shoving Ivanovic across – Is a decent time to start.
I considered Ashley myself but couldn't ignore the big Ivorian.

It's really hard to know why he was dropped, but it's fair to say that his impact has been greater on here than on the pitch.
I can understand why Bruce wants to try and play with more technically gifted players, as they have been playing poor attacking football this season.
Elmo is athletic but if he was classed as a midfielder I don't think anyone on here would even have considered him.

It looks like the guy is a united specialist so there might be a grain of truth in it. He also appears to be a massive united fan so maybe wishful thinking as well.
You'd be surprised at how often The Sun get it right regarding line-ups. I hate the rag but I always note what they say on the Saturday morning articles on here, and they're usually correct when it comes to doubtful players.

In fairness he tried to apologize saying it was a joke but when he tried to post that it was a joke the servers were down... It was pretty busy here just before kick-off.
Also theres only about 10 regular posters that a fully trust, the rest are great but I make sure I validate what they are saying. 🙂
But the problem was the site crashed after he posted the team, so lost of people believed it and then it was too late to change things when the site was back up

I think youve gotten away with it mate. VDV didnt get any bonus and Areta could very well outscore him. Arteta usually scores against Bolton and is due a goal. I did a similar thing by bringing in Cahil for for VDV. I reckon Cahil will probaby do sod all..

You could always do Malouda to VDV this week if you think he'll do better gainst Blackburn than Malouda against Sunderland.

I know Liverpool isn't nailed on, but needed to boost the odds a bit!
Blackburn and Samba are very well setup to handle the Newcastle aerial threat. That's not an automatic win. Also Everton don't score enough for it to be comfortable over Bolton.
I prefer the Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea bet lol, although the returns are much less.
