After the frenzy of last week, I’d like to take the opportunity on this relatively sleepy Monday night, to announce and introduce you to a couple of new Fantasy Football Scout team members.

Firstly, the keen eyed amongst you will have noticed a certain Elfozzie making the odd comment post over the past few months. This shady character has been in the background after coming on board in the Summer, during which time he helped me out with some of his hard-earned, and basically supported me to create and launch the Members area. Elfozzie is the Scout’s Business guy – responsible for helping me to turn this site into something other than a pleasurable time sink that gets me into trouble with my girlfriend and destroys my social life. Elfozzie will be to blame if I’m still here doing this in a couple of years.

Johnfinlay meanwhile, has joined the team as our day-to-day news reporter and all-round editorial machine to provide coverage during the daylight hours, when the rest of us should be doing our 9 to 5 jobs. John will be chipping in with tweets, articles, team news, helping out with moderation on the comments and generally pushing the site on to be more prolific than ever. Almost half my age and full of these things I can vaguely remember called “energy and enthusiasm”, John is the Jack Wilshere to my Liam Brady. Liam Brady’s not dead yet is he?

You read more on both these characters in the freshly updated Meet The Team page right here.

Welcome aboard Elfozzie and Johnfinlay!

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Although I can't remember exactly what the comment is... I just remember searching for it before and getting nowhere, but now I can remember the date he said it and the comments are closed on every article from that date..

You should have seen how angry I was in real life.....

Says a lot about me that I was more devastated about Utd snatching an undeserved result, than Chelsea getting completely destroyed at home.

'that loony Rothchild' has a weird obsession with certain people on this site....

I remember at the end of one week him posting something that basically said:

To be honest when Steve Bruce brought Wellbeck on in the 2nd half against Spurs last week they were a completely different team. Spurs had it all their own way until then and the whole game changed. Wellbeck made a huge difference. I haven't seen any of yesterdays game but it wouldn't surprise me if it was much of the same.

Wellbeck played very well. He and Gyan really carried the team. Like Jones and Fuller against 'Pool. God knows how Bruce will fit Bent into the lineup when he returns. He can't drop one of those guys.

But IMO, it pretty much rules out Elmo.

Most of the maps are too small I find so when you get a spot it's too easy to get to.

I liked sniping on MW2, then again I played hardcore TDM and SnD whereas on black ops Im mainly playing core TDM

The one in the snow is decent for sniping... Especially on that tower thingy at the back. And Havana is decent too... But in general there are much fewer places to snipe than on previous games.

Havana is ok but I find most of the action takes place on the edge of the map rather than through the centre.

Array is definitely the best map as you say. Tower is quite obvious, at least I know I look at it everytime I go past. That map is probably my least favourite of them all

Yeah I've killed so many people who were up there, and I've killed just as many from up there. It's blatantly obvious, but it always seems to work for me..

Favourite map? Hmmm... Genuinely don't know. I always do outrageously well on WMD, so I'll say that one.

I aggree. On balance, a player who plays every week for a team getting a steady stream of clean sheets is probably better than one in comes in and out of a side getting loads of them.

Will they leak goals against Wigan who have the least amount of balls played into the box or Rovers who have had the least amount of shots?

Only my 2nd 4 point hit of the season

          @your question
City more likely to get clean sheets, because of the style[or lack of it] their game.
          Kolarov is cheaper
Ferdinand will almost certainly not get any returns if United don't keep a CS.

I'm messing around with the wildcard, which of these options would you go for?

    a. Hanhemann, Ferdinand, Kolorov
    b. Jaask, Vidic, Foley (.7m in the bank)

    Rest of squad:
Gordon (rotates well with jaask or hannheman)
    A Cole, Coleman, Simpson
    Fabs, Nani, VDV, Jarvis, Albrighton
    Drogs, Elman, Carroll

      B.

You don't need 3 expensive defenders. Coleman is a great player to have at the moment, and it'll be a shame if you have to leave him on the bench.

I think Kolarov is the best of the bunch.

Bolton and Cahill aren't particularly good defensively, and relying on bonus points won't last if Bolton aren't keeping clean sheets.

Kyrgiakos is in a Liverpool team who are struggling at the moment, and Ferdinand gives little other than the regulation 6 for a clean sheet.

Kolarov is playing in a good defensive side, and also takes corners and free kicks. He seems the sensible choice really.

Okay guys, considering my options here. This is my current team with 0.1 in the bank

    Foster (Robinson)
    Ridge, Baines, Cashley (Hutton, Elmo)
    Nani, VDV, Malou, Nolan (Park)
    Berba, Torres, Doyle

Been looking at a Torres swap, but for who?

    A) My defense is shoddy and needs something to firm it up, was thinking Park > Ferguson for a Baines > Vidic swap for 4 points.

    B) Could also go Torres > ? then Malouda > Fabs for 4 points

    C) Elmo > Foley and Doyle > Elmander

    D) Elmo > Foley and Park > N’Zog

Those are my curren options. Any ideas?

    Best midfielder <8.5 m?!

    I already have VDV.

Looking at Silva!Apart from him,I dont really find Much value in that bracket!

I could go for Jarvis/Nzog but that leaves way too much in the Bank[3.3 m]

Brunt-Good choice but again like Jarvis leaves a lot in the bank

Well, there's Arteta and Cahill, but Evertons fixtures aren't that great either

Kuyt but he seems to be OOP and not playing well. Not to mention Liverpool is a mid to bottom table team this season

Milner is pretty good though he hasn't been performing in a MC side determined to draw every game.

At 8.5 you don't have much in terms of high end midfielders... Having the 3.3 in the bank may need to happen.

But your midfield looks pretty good right now... why the change?

Jags for me. Cahill's playing OOP and seems to be in a rich vein of form. One goal is all it takes to remove Jagielka's points scoring whilst Cahill looks likely for atleast an assist or goal most games given his current role in the team.

Lacking United coverage here, but only really fancy Nani, Evra and Vidic to score well. Not sure I can justify investing anymore into my back 3 and am reluctant to lose any of my midfield. Any urgent transfers people would do with the following squad apart from the obvious GK weakness?

    Gilks (Krul)

    A.Cole | G.Cahill | Koralov (Jara, Gohouri)

Fabregas | T.Cahill | Van der Vaart | Adam (Albrighton)

    Drogba | K.Davies | Chamakh

    1.1m in the bank
