With presumably the vast majority of your fantasy squad in action yesterday (or to play tomorrow), today the somewhat unfashionable teams are in action looking to impress.

First up is Blackburn Rovers Vs. Aston Villa at Ewood Park…

The home side make one significant change from their expected line-up, as super-sub Jason Roberts finally gets the nod ahead of Nikola Kalinic.

For Villa, Stephen Ireland makes a return to the side, at the expense of the impressive Mark Albrighton. Blast-from-the-past Robert Pires makes the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Dunn, Jones, Pedersen, Hoilett, Roberts, El-Hadji Diouf

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Clark, Warnock, Downing, Ireland, Hogg, Bannan, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor

Then it’s off to Craven Cottage, as Fulham host under-pressure Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City, in the 4pm kick-off.

Finally, if like me you no players involved today, there’s the wait to see how many places in the overall rankings you’ll slide as a result.

As always, all this action can be followed with a visit to our Dugout Discussion, which will remain open throughout the day.

Praying he A: keeps tevez quiet, and B: scores a buttload before the masses transfer him in. Apparent unrest in the City squad that he's getting special treatment from Mancini, that suggests he wont get rotated as much to me.

david silva gets so much freedom with the three holding midfielders behind him. if it wasn't for vdv at the same price i think a lot of people would be looking at him

But i don't think he uses that to his advantage though as he has no where near enough goal attempts as VDV or the number of times he gets into the box

agreed. a nearly man, he has been very close to about 3 assists already today. kolarov has just taken corners off him too which wont help.

keep it quiet but kolarov is overlapping with pace at every chance, he's taking all the corners and he is a defender in a team with 3 holding midfielders priced at 5.7m 🙂

    I envisage an article soon.......

If fit he MUST play Mancini likes attacking FB's thats why he plays 3 "defencive" mids.

He may be on the raise after today as looked a threat and potential assist machine!

Assuming City win this, they will be on the exact seam points (25_ rom the same amount of games (14) as last year under Mark Hughes, who had a lot less than mancini does now.
