Ain’t snow stopping us now. Despite the downpour of white stuff in the North-East St James’ Park is good to go to play host to Chelsea and that is where we start our Sunday affairs.

Newcastle welcome Cheikh Tiote back into their team after suspension, Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor cover for the suspended Williamson and Coloccini while Wayne Routledge comes in for Kevin Nolan who has picked up a knock. Chelsea play the eleven as revealed earlier in the week..

      they're not bad transfers but i'd be hesitant about taking elmander out quite so soon, a 2pt gameweek was gonna happen sometime! see how torres does today then go with your gut; i can see all of those transfers reaping rewards over the next 5-10 gws.

  I've been hearing quite a lot of this, but despite his obvious flaws, GJ is better defensively than the majority of RBs in the league, and is one of only a few that can match Bale for pace.

    Bale actually gets pocketed by most right backs in the league these days. He had to drift out to the right wing against Arsenal last weekend because Sagna wasn't giving him a kick. Neville and Steinsson have done a job on him in recent weeks too.
    
    Yet he's still favourite for PFA Player of the Year. There's one Sp*rs player who deserves a nomination for that award, but it's not Gareth Bale.
