Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

The news that Fernando Torres wife has gone into labour (oh god, not that old chestnut again!) will cause many, myself included, to kick up a storm as Ryan Babel comes in to replace the Spanish maestro this evening. Some end to the gameweek. Teams in full are…

        We were one of the first to have it. Last year that weekend when most the Prem games got called off, the weekend Tevez scored a hatrick against Blackburn, well our game was on in the Championship.

I spent two hours on Friday night deliberating what transfers to make. I decided to opt out of nasri, even though I am a die hard arsenal fan, and against my better judgment went for torres. I have recently sat with my girl through a labour and as magical as it was I feel nando is being more than a little selfish by taking away my potential hat trick on a captaincy from my declining team. I have no where else to turn. I am feeling suicidal. Help me.

      Haha! Well, it could go either way, but I reckon he's not going to be a regular. He had a bit of a falling out with Moyes last season, then has been out injured and is only just returning. Saha and Yakubu (and possibly Beckford) are ahead of him in the pecking order up front, and Osman (and maybe Coleman) will get the nod ahead of him on the right wing. Unless injuries give him a chance of a run in the team and he impresses enough to keep his place, I can't see him playing enough to warrant buying in FPL.
