Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

    he's got the horn tonight, the crowd is on his side (for once!) and hodgson can't help but be impressed. despite n'gog's goal i think it's been all about babel up front so far. the only spanner in the works is it's hard for hodgson to drop out meireles or lucas form the centre when gerrard returns in order to carry on playing 4-4-2

I find Monday night games generally always disappoint me anyway, have no one playing tonight, but whenever I have a big Saturday, and have a player playing on Monday, I always think "sweet, and still X to play on Monday night, I could get 6-10 more!" always ends up as 1 or -1 or something for me, I almost see having a big big Saturday as a bad omen the rest of the weekend will be pants. Nearly came through yesterday with Simpson/Piquionne, only for Bardsley to throw me a bone!

I asked my 2 year old son who would win Newcastle or West Brom (he said West Brom). So then I thought he was just repeating the team I was saying last so I asked Sunderland or West Ham (he said Sunderland). £60 richer I asked him Liverpool or Aston Villa, he went with Liverpool. Eager to see how long his streak lasts!

  +1 just because his wife is having a baby he can't play football for a couple of hours. Torres should be sold and get in some players that will play through hell and back for a game with Liverpool. Sell Torres in January he obviously has no passion for the game. He is so miserable anyway his wife probably said go play football and it was just too cold for him nothing to do with babies.
