Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

is it really an assist when the keeper saves? thinking about carroll this week..

I have in my defence: Alex, Kolarov, Williamson, Coleman and Konchesky.. in other words: Big trouble. i have not had the chance of substiting them yet (i know alex and williamson are out). But I'm not keen on a 4 point hit. but over the next two weeks alex and williamson will be gone.

who do you guys recommend as defenders? I have lots of cash in the bank (but would like to keep it that way in case that torres, drogba or rooney hits form again).

I'm thinking of bringing in Samba/Nelson (good fixtures) and Kyrgiakos (yes I have konchesky, but good fixtures and willing to take the chance of both). opinions?

The doubling up of players could work - Good old Mark for example had Kyrgiakos & Konchesky in already for this week...
