Three Premier League games are served up today, before the heavyweight clash tomorrow night at Old Trafford. We start with two games (both kicking-off at 1.30pm), one at Molineux as Wolves face Birmingham City in a Midlands derby, and the other at the Reebok where the Wanderers will be looking to make it a great sporting weekend for the town of Bolton, as they take on Blackburn Rovers in-front of the Sky cameras.

The team sheets are in from both fixtures, and here is the team news…

Bolton line-up exactly as predicted, with the potent strike-force of Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander heading a 4-4-2. For the visitors, there is just one significant name on the team sheet, or rather omitted from it, as Martin Olsson starts instead of David Dunn, who sits on the bench.

Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen, Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Mark Davies, Holden, Petrov, Elmander, Kevin Davies

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Olsson, Emerton, Jones, Pedersen, El-Hadji Diouf, Roberts

As for the derby, and neither Kevin Doyle nor Matt Jarvis shook off injuries to feature in any capacity today. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Stephen Hunt come in. Liam Ridgewell and Craig Gardner don’t make the Birmingham starting line-up, with only the latter on the bench. Nikola Zigic and David Murphy get the nod.

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Zubar, Berra, Stearman, Elokobi, Foley, Edwards, Milijas, Ward, Hunt, Ebanks-Blake

Birmingham XI: Foster, Carr, Johnson, Dann, Murphy, Larsson, Bowyer, Ferguson, Fahey, Jerome, Zigic

Then it’s down to the capital where a buoyant Spurs play the faltering champions Chelsea at 4pm. The visitors will be desperate to reach the league summit once more, and the hosts will be eager to close the gap to fourth after tasting, and liking, Champions League football.

To keep track of and to join in the discussion of all the day’s action, head to our chatroom which is available right here.

Excellent. What are the noisy neighbours going to do now? Adebayor and Tevez gone in January, Balotelli another prima donna who COULD be amazing if only he had a Fergie figure... But wait, they've got Jo - they'll be fine. Nice to see Chelski failing too - proves that money is only 95% of football.

terry was class time and time again got little headers in and in the second half really pushed the defence high and with his leadership skills got defoe and pav subbed , it pains me to say it but chelsea were quite classy second half

Probably because we actually played with some tempo to our game, rather than letting Mikel make 745 three yard passes in the second half.

And Carlo, please stop playing Kalou. He's so bad. Even Sturridge is better.

          I'm not sure really.

In one way I think Chelsea benefited from bringing the tempo down, or at least keeping the ball better in the team rather than playing a quick pass in a poor situation too early.

Tottenham thrive when games turn all Hawaii and there is no organization and only top speed end to end football. I basically think Chelsea dominated the second half by choosing quality rather than speed in their passing.

          Faultless

He got rinsed by pav for the goal
Thought he was beckenbaur and gave possesion away
Twice I counted headers by him which he mis directed to more dangerous spurs players which led to shots on goal or just wide
He also stepped out of the defence when the others stayed in line and pav would have had a one on one but for better control in early 2nd half

          Ya faultless.

    Camzy,

So what are your thoughts on Drogba? There's a lot of knee jerking on here but he was constantly dangerous in the half he played and was a penalty away from scoring 12 points in an away match. I'm getting Tevez this week anyway but the question is whether to replace Drogs or Gyan with him.

      Wait.

Tevez fiasco is worrying. The fact he actually handed in a transfer request means he might not play.

Drogba did look a handful in that game, but they still have tough fixtures. Gyan on the other hand isn't getting starts...

My advice is wait for the ManUtd game, and transfer one of their two strikers in. ManUtd have nice fixtures starting GW19, and they look to be in the best form (which isn't saying much...)
