Three Premier League games are served up today, before the heavyweight clash tomorrow night at Old Trafford. We start with two games (both kicking-off at 1.30pm), one at Molineux as Wolves face Birmingham City in a Midlands derby, and the other at the Reebok where the Wanderers will be looking to make it a great sporting weekend for the town of Bolton, as they take on Blackburn Rovers in-front of the Sky cameras.

The team sheets are in from both fixtures, and here is the team news…

Bolton line-up exactly as predicted, with the potent strike-force of Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander heading a 4-4-2. For the visitors, there is just one significant name on the team sheet, or rather omitted from it, as Martin Olsson starts instead of David Dunn, who sits on the bench.

Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen, Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Mark Davies, Holden, Petrov, Elmander, Kevin Davies

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Olsson, Emerton, Jones, Pedersen, El-Hadji Diouf, Roberts

As for the derby, and neither Kevin Doyle nor Matt Jarvis shook off injuries to feature in any capacity today. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Stephen Hunt come in. Liam Ridgewell and Craig Gardner don’t make the Birmingham starting line-up, with only the latter on the bench. Nikola Zigic and David Murphy get the nod.

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Zubar, Berra, Stearman, Elokobi, Foley, Edwards, Milijas, Ward, Hunt, Ebanks-Blake

Birmingham XI: Foster, Carr, Johnson, Dann, Murphy, Larsson, Bowyer, Ferguson, Fahey, Jerome, Zigic

Then it’s down to the capital where a buoyant Spurs play the faltering champions Chelsea at 4pm. The visitors will be desperate to reach the league summit once more, and the hosts will be eager to close the gap to fourth after tasting, and liking, Champions League football.

To keep track of and to join in the discussion of all the day’s action, head to our chatroom which is available right here.

Terry is a headless chicken today. If he actually tried to do his job it would serve his team better than thinking he is Beckenbaur and then losing possesion

      +1
He wins a good ball then storms up the pitch. Then passes it right back to Spurs

terry's better on his left foot than most centre backs with their stronger right. he could have done better for the spurs goal (after his offside trap was wrongly ignored by the ref) and he misplaced 1 pass on a forward burst.

God the sky commentators brown nosing of Bale is a little nauseating.

"great cross" as soon as the ball is out of his feet, for it to not even get past the first defender.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, they talk him up a bit too much though imo.

Looks like keeping Drogba and getting rid of Torres for Tevez was inspired after all 😉
