    So my cup game has come down to this:

    Me: Cahill + 3 pts.(lead)

    vs.

    Him: Toure + Milner.

    Basically,if Citeh keep a cleanie I'm a goner.Damn,badly need that particular cleanie to be screwed,not just for Toure,but also for all those Kolarov,Hart and Boateng owners.Reckon I can make it through?

    I'm out in Barcelona at the moment so only managed to get a quick look at highlights on Spanish TV rather than what was (I imagine) very extended highlights on match of the day (incidentally how the hell did they fill the time, Shearer and Hansen in some Xmas karaoke?)

    However, from what I saw of the West Ham goal, Parker completely made it with a run into the box before the ball found it's way to Stanislas to crack home, yet somehow there's no assist fo Parker or ANY west ham player according to FPL - any insight into this?

      From what I recall last night, it wasn't a direct pass-it ricocheted off a number of defenders(similar to Nani last week-he didn't get an assist for the deflection)

        If you look at the context of Moyes' comments he is saying that when they pick up the loan players they will be looking to give Coleman a rest. They dont have the options I believe to give him a rest now, I reckon he will start.

        since when did we go soft about 'around the ground' this country has gone to the dogs....mamby pamby left wing tree hugging do gooders, I lived in Southern Germany for 4 years and often went to Stuttgarts home games often with 10 inches of snow everywhere around the bloody ground and the NFL has NEVER postponed a single game due to adverse weather conditions and they play in minus 30 degrees ........WHERE IS THE BACKBONE OF THIS COUNTRY GONE!!!???     we here have been scouting for kolarov for quite long i think this will be a perfect week for kolarov to have an absolute blinder so that most of us out here can save our gameweeks and also go through the next round in the cup....cause not many outside ffs have kolarov...
    p.s: i hope mario also gets on the score sheet..
    but most importantly lets hope the match goes on cause

      depends on who you have so far in your team and how much budget you have to play with. but some common names are: Rafeel, Kolarov, Nelsen/Samba, Kyriagos/Konchesky, Onuuha, Enrique, Simpson, Dawson, ...

    The way I see the game tomorrow......Apparently if City play and win, it will be the first time they have been top at christmas for 80 ish years, si I can imagine they desperately want it on...Why not play it behind closed doors if the surrounding areas are dangerous, they can certainly afford the loss!
    Also if i went to the game and fell over on some ice, it wouldnt be their fault, it would be mine, i just dont get it all this worry. The shops are open, so if I decide to go out, its my choice to go to them!
