      These Pedersen BPs are beginning to annoy me.. People jumped on him after a couple of flukey free kicks, ignoring the fact that he's playing very deep, and all of a sudden he's a bonus darling. 1 assist in the past 3 weeks and he's scored 16 points. Grrr....

      At least he did actually deserve the BPs today. I thought he was pretty decent, still doesn't explain why so many people have someone who is basically playing as a defensive midfielder (his average position today was deeper than any of the other B'Burn midfielders) at 5.9 million.

    I know there are conflicting opinions on this but I'm going to say it anyway after a really shi**y day. The emergency captain rule? Absolute tosh.

    If there has to be a back up I would have no problem with a vice captain if your captain didn't play but that is it - If the VC doesn't play either then, I'm sorry, thats tough and the way the cards fall. More chance of movement up and down then. I know I have Tevez captain but that was MY CHOICE. It was others choices to captain other players and fair play if it came off. Nobody knew the weather was going to cause this much havoc (again) but now people are going to be rewarded with extra points for something they didn't choose.

    On a similar note, Friday night I thought the only game that looked really dodgy on the weather front was the one at Sunderland, plus I fancied Torres to do something this week against Fulham - So lost 3points by selling big Kev. But thats the way it goes, it was my choice and there shouldn't be a back up for that so what will be, will be. Unfortunately, the stupid emergency captain rule goes against that.

              Haha, its crap isn't it. It'll screw you too TT as you have Tevez captain too. Obviously that is annoying but looking at the bigger picture I wish they'd just sack it off. I just can't see their issue with having a VC instead.

                  Oh of course. But at least hes at home. He has a touch of VDV syndrome and thinks he is Lionel Messi at times so he should at least have a few attempts at goal! He looked pretty handy last week to be fair and you don't get paid all that money for not having a bit of flair about you..

        That is frustrating for you Waldaz I'm sure. If there was just a VC then he may have picked Nasri that week anyway.. I personally wouldn't have a VC option either as that'd cause havoc everytime someone of captain material dropped out - I'd like the randomness of it all, you'd benefit one week and be screwed the next.

    Suspension Tightrope now updated after the games today.

    Changes as follows:

    Cattermole now picks up his third ban following his accrual of 5 yellows (I've currently no idea if it is 1 match for 5Y, or 3 matches for a 3rd ban). He joins Adam, Figueroa and HThomas on the ban list for GW19 as they were unable to serve their bans this weekend, and they will be accompanied by De Jong, and Arteta if Monday's match bites the dust as well.
    MDavies, Muamba and Givet the new additions to the tightrope on 4 yellows. (MDavies has now served his one week ban, but had already accrued 4 yellows so returns to the tightrope)
    Meanwhile, GCahill and Ben Haim are now 2 yellows away from a ban.

        Depends if Milner starts or not... If he does, then obviously he gets Milner's points and Yaya may be playing deep. But if he doesn't, then Yaya will be off Tevez and in with a chance of scoring points.

        Him playing 90 minutes against Juventus is encouraging.... I just hope that Mancini goes with Zabaleta instead of De Jong and Boateng/Micah at RB.

              I don't know what you are worried about. I have 1point, a player out for 4-5months, with Tevez (skip) and Kolorov left.

              My Fantasy Cup opponent had two Sunderland defenders scoring 12points in total, he has Howard, Baines and Cahill to play with Tevez given the armband after Nasri didn't play. Now that is what you call screwed!!
