We’ve managed to eek out one final fixture in this heavily truncated gameweek as Manchester City play host to Everton. Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request, could my prophecy of Friday morning ring true? Chance would be a fine thing.

City then, unsurprisingly, recall their captain and Aleksander Kolarov to the line-up follow suspension (and a hefty portion of drama), while James Milner replaces Nigel De Jong who himself is suspended. David Moyes meanwhile makes two changes as Leon Osman returns from injury to deputise for Stephen Pienaar who picked up a niggle in the week, while also giving another face a chance to shine up front with Victor Anichebe forcing Saha, Yakubu and Beckford to the bench after weeks of paltry returns. Teams in full are..

City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Toure, Kompany, Kolarov; Milner, Toure Yaya, Barry; Silva, Tevez, Balotelli.

Oh Happy days, my 5 players from last night turned into 56 points, was 20 points behind my league leader, now 23 points clear, oh happy days....also now 2,500 in the world overall, after ranking 370th in the world for the score this week...oh happy days.

  1)would do Johnson>Baines. I hate to chase points, but Baines has to be considered as a must-have. I'd downgrad a defender at some point as your defence is too expensive for my liking.

LUCK

There seems to be a lot of hard cheese today re emergency captaining, I don't like the rule either. However people moaning about luck of someone else getting an emergency captain and claiming they should have won because they had loads of players playing shows a lack of appreciation for the luck they had in the first place that the games their players were involved in weren't called off.

Talking of luck, I won my cup tie 6 - 4 !!

Disappointing to see so much gloating on these pages by those lucky enough to have a few players playing and a decent AC lottery. I know it's swings and roundabouts but if you've fluked a decent score it strikes me that the decent thing to do is shut up about it.

    Agree. If someone had captained Cahill out of their own volition then fair play. If you've fluked 26pts through an auto-captaincy then congrats on the good luck but it is really nothing to pat yourself on the back for.
    
    Many of the people who've bragged on here about it do have rankings >100,000, which is piss poor to tell the truth, especially if you use this site.

    Cheers guys,that was my thinking too.Will wait one more week before bringing in Carroll.And Inalize dude,don't ask me what I'm doing with Collins,I myself don't know lol.Brought him in 5 GWs back to accomodate Tevez and Barton for -4.The only early transfers I made all season,the next day Barton got suspended for 3.Will change Collins->Baines probably in two weeks' time.

I also face some defensive problems.
Vidic Kyrgiakos Toure Jara Bardsley

Atm Toure and possbibly Kyrgiakos are out. I actually don't want to play Jara and Bardsley away which leaves me with Vidic.
Baines is probably the best option to get in.

But whom to take out?

I'm working on the basis that the better your team, the worse you did.

I got 3 points. My team is therefore borderline perfect.

Top 12K to top 27K just because this country can't handle snow. Chelsea-United being called off at Saturday lunchtime was a f*cking disgrace.

Kolarov is a strange one....seems to be less than sound defensively, which given City's options must be a worry, but is undoubtedly a potentially great source of attacking harvest just waiting to bear fruit...

        It is very strange, why they look shaky at the back with him I don’t know. He nearly scored and had assists last night and was also way up the pitch against Bolton too if you look at the stats. He is going to get a massive haul soon I can see it. But he has been infuriating since I bought him I have to admit.

        I agree, he looks ropey defensively to say the least. I think I made a mistake getting him, at least with Baines, you're guaranteeing attacking points.
