A Gameweek under floodlights brings a midweek Fantasy Premier League deadline – not only that we’ve got the lure of double fixtures to consider. That all adds up to a supremely busy Tuesday evening around here, with plenty of Fantasy Managers wiping away the perspiration in search of some last minute inspiration.

We’ve opened up the Matchday Surgery chatroom nice and early for you to allow you time to settle in, find yourself a seat in the stand and try to fight off those last minute knee jerks.

    Van Persie to Torres or Malouda to Gerrard?

    I already have Nasri, and Malouda is my only Chelsea coverage…..the answer is therefore probably obvious, but i have a gut feeling about Gerrard as opposed to Torres…

    Evening all! Anyone know the story with Andy Carrol, when exactly he's gonna be back? If it's 2+ gameweeks i'll do Carrol --> Varney but i've got so much invested in Carroll don't wanna do it unless it's a long enough layoff. Cheers!

    Hi guys, quick poll.

    A. Out with Drogba, Nzogbia and jagielka, in with Torres, Adam and Skrtel. 8 point hit.

    B. Out with nzogbia and Jag, in with Adam and Skrtel.4 point hit.

    C. Out with Nzog, in with Adam.(already done)

    Adam (c) on all 3 options.

      yes, varney will play both games so will get at least 2 more points for playing the second game, so really its only a 2 point hit.
      I always think a 4 point hit is worth it in a double GW if the player your bringing in will more than likely play both games.
