There are three exciting developments concerning our Members Area today. Firstly, and most significantly we’ve slashed the price of Membership for the rest of the season to just £10.

You can now sign up and get the full Members Ticker, the customisable and feature-filled Next Six Ticker plus of course access to our sortable tables of OPTA player and team performance statistics. All that for a tenner; plus there’s more to come with news of updated Player Projections for the FPL game…

The second piece of news however concerns the Opta stats. We are now out of Beta for Phase Two of the Members area which means that, in addition to cumulative stats over the season, you can now view statistics for players and teams by the Gameweek. Members can use filters to analyse performance over the current and last Gameweek and the last two, four and six Gameweeks. Using the Advanced Filters you can also set up your own ranges and choose to view averages by Games Played, rather than absolute data.

The final development, as promised, concerns the Player Projections – we’ve been working to update these in time for the Gameweek 22 Fantasy Premier League Wildcards and I’m please to say that these have now been updated.

What are Player Projections?
These are our predictions for all the vital FPL stats for every player in the game – predicted until the end of the season. Basically they allow you to view a predicted return for players and we’ve included a field that shows points gained from Gameweek 22 to the end of the season to cater for your Wildcard needs.

How were they put together?
We built these new Projections from scratch rather than work with the existing data. The sortable tables are based on FPL performance so far with modifiers applied for the difficulty of their remaining fixtures and their current form. We’ve also used the OPTA data to apply further modifiers based on the analysis of players performance that these stats allow.

How do I use the Projections?
Basically if you’re playing your Wildcard, these tables can be used to view a projected return for goals, assists, clean sheets, FPL Bonus and of course, FPL total points for all the top players. We’ve included sortable tables of the top 25 Keepers, 100 Defenders, 100 Midfielders and 50 Strikers.

Will they be updated?
These projections have been built specifically with the Gameweek 22 Wildcard in mind. They won’t be updated each week but may well get a refresh later in the season, prior to the final run-in. We will keep you posted on that.

There are doubtless some minor bugs to fix in the data but I thought it would be great to roll these out to Members now, prior to the Gameweek 23 deadline. The tables will be tweaked over the next few days then I’m sure.

So, all this is now available to Members, while Non-Members can now sign up to get access for just £10 via Paypal or via a cheque or Postal Order to the address below:

I became a member earlier and the stats are amazing, especially where you filter the stats the gameweeks! Been playing with them all night.. Some incredible stuff, how Charlie Adam didn't get a goal or assist in the DGW is incredible.

Well looking aside the fact that he has looked infinitely better than both Koscielney and Squilacci put together, there are no other fit CB's at Arsenal, so I would say yes.

He's not long back from a serious knee injury.

With the lack of fit centre backs, he's enjoying an extended run. Keep in mind Song can (& has) played centre back. Wouldn't be surprised if this happens soon.

          Just switched to Tevez..

Thought about it, his last two home games, Blackpool at home he missed a penalty and if he had of scored that it was more than likely he would of gone onto score more.

Then against Bolton he scored one, then got another but it was wrongly called offside iirc, so should of had a brace by half time!

    Metro game:

I've just noticed that the blackpool players I subbed i last Friday night (at a cost) didn't play on Wednesday. It appears the Metro decided last week didn't count as a game week and so they didn't update the teamsheets at lunchtime on Saturday so my new players stayed on the bench! Nowhere on th esite does it list the gameweeks it just says they run Saturday to Saturday. How were we supposed to know last week didn't count? My team in 89th overall spent 50 points bringing in Blackpool players for last week that got me no points

Any Liverpool fans think it's possible G Johnson will be tried at right midfield?

People have been speculating, and he's now been named in that position in the guardian squad sheets (which I know are totally BS, but still...)

I need a replacemnent for Konchesky, and I'm considering splashing the cash on Johnson.

Is there a possiblity he gets rested/dropped in the next few matches?

Ok - I am likely to play a WC in the upcoming GW, so my 1 transfer is probably just for this week. Possible candidates are:

    Vidic, Skrtel, Kolarov, Simpson, Bardsley

I could bring in Coleman, Huth, Bosingwa, Rafael, Alcaraz, Pantsil

Vidic looks like the most likely candidate out. (I was going to swap him with Rafael in the WC anyway). As for the In - bit confused at the moment.

    So maybe Vidic->Pantsil/Huth/Bosingwa

    Any suggestion that might help?

People don't like Stockdale because schwarzer will be back soon and then you will have to make another transfer for a backup keeper. However, if you have Hart I don't really see the problem because Stockdale's cheaper than everyone else and you can play Hart every week...

However, I would bring in N'zogbia for Brunt, and Bramble for Bardsley, unless you have him at a discount.

i am a leicester fan, so basically a neutral. When something is a 50-50 the commentators tend to stay shut about the decision. But when a commentator confidently says that berbatov dived after taking an extra step, you dont even need your own eyes to realise that it was a dive. anyways, i dont really care so chuck it. might have been - might not...

as for dzeko ... seeing the consensus is that he wont start, then im going back to the drawing board! thanks

Mihir and everyone else - it doesnt matter if berbs dived, with the modern laws of the game, because Agger stuck his leg out it was a penalty.

it wouldnt be a penalty though if berbatov didnt crashland. never seen a ref give a penalty for sticking a leg out where the oponent didnt fall/dive.

Quick query: I bought Tevez at 11 mil and he’s since risen in price to 11.4; however on my ‘transfers’ his price is still 11 (i.e I’d get 11 if I sold him). Shouldn’t I have 11.2 for him? Thanks in advance.

    Gordon (Robinson)
    Coleman/Djoura/Rafael/Wilkinson (bramble)
    VdV/Adam/Fab(c)/Nani (Bale)
    Tevez/Van Persie (DJ Campbell)

Really tough choices.. i did bring in Dempsey for Bale, but then too much of a headache the following week in who to drop in MF!!

Also subs this week hard too, am tempted to drop one of my defenders for DJ though.. thoughts?!

My prev defence was Coleman/distin/johnson R/Jara/Kolarov and since Kolarov shown himself up recently, Brum not keeping clean sheets, and WBA not offering value, had to change it! Stoke at home you're gonna see clean sheets, Arsneal and man u you're gonna see clean sheets, coleman OOP and Sunderland at home you're gonna see clean sheets! Worth using my freebie to swap Bale out for N'Zogbia?

Gohouri is in, Alcaraz is in the scout pics thanks to Wigan's kind fixtures and double game week coming up so Gohouri will be just as good an option for cheaper I think.

Skrtel will deffo go after next weeks games though for Djourou. Cheers

Ok looking for ideas, not really sure what transfer to make in my team.

    Foster (Robinson)

    Konchesky Rafael Kolarov (Crainey Foley)

    VDV Nani Nasri Adam (Dempsey)

    Tevez (C) Torres Berbatov

The stand out one seems to be Konchesky to get rid of. Should Kolarov start again?

For Konchesky I was thinking Coleman/Bardsley or Hughes. I only have 0.6m to spend so can't get Hangeland or Skrtel.

Is one of them the right transfer to be making this week? Is my team such a mess that I should be wildcarding? Should Dempsey be on the bench ahead of VDV or Adam?!
