There are three exciting developments concerning our Members Area today. Firstly, and most significantly we’ve slashed the price of Membership for the rest of the season to just £10.

You can now sign up and get the full Members Ticker, the customisable and feature-filled Next Six Ticker plus of course access to our sortable tables of OPTA player and team performance statistics. All that for a tenner; plus there’s more to come with news of updated Player Projections for the FPL game…

The second piece of news however concerns the Opta stats. We are now out of Beta for Phase Two of the Members area which means that, in addition to cumulative stats over the season, you can now view statistics for players and teams by the Gameweek. Members can use filters to analyse performance over the current and last Gameweek and the last two, four and six Gameweeks. Using the Advanced Filters you can also set up your own ranges and choose to view averages by Games Played, rather than absolute data.

The final development, as promised, concerns the Player Projections – we’ve been working to update these in time for the Gameweek 22 Fantasy Premier League Wildcards and I’m please to say that these have now been updated.

What are Player Projections?
These are our predictions for all the vital FPL stats for every player in the game – predicted until the end of the season. Basically they allow you to view a predicted return for players and we’ve included a field that shows points gained from Gameweek 22 to the end of the season to cater for your Wildcard needs.

How were they put together?
We built these new Projections from scratch rather than work with the existing data. The sortable tables are based on FPL performance so far with modifiers applied for the difficulty of their remaining fixtures and their current form. We’ve also used the OPTA data to apply further modifiers based on the analysis of players performance that these stats allow.

How do I use the Projections?
Basically if you’re playing your Wildcard, these tables can be used to view a projected return for goals, assists, clean sheets, FPL Bonus and of course, FPL total points for all the top players. We’ve included sortable tables of the top 25 Keepers, 100 Defenders, 100 Midfielders and 50 Strikers.

Will they be updated?
These projections have been built specifically with the Gameweek 22 Wildcard in mind. They won’t be updated each week but may well get a refresh later in the season, prior to the final run-in. We will keep you posted on that.

There are doubtless some minor bugs to fix in the data but I thought it would be great to roll these out to Members now, prior to the Gameweek 23 deadline. The tables will be tweaked over the next few days then I’m sure.

So, all this is now available to Members, while Non-Members can now sign up to get access for just £10 via Paypal or via a cheque or Postal Order to the address below:

Cheques should be made payable to “Fantasy Football Scout Ltd”.

I'm wanting to get one in this week, one in next week, then play wildcard in GW26.

Can't decide which of the three is most likely to keep a clean sheet this week.

After much debate between Nasri & Tevez I'm now starting to consider Torres, obviously i know his form hasn't been the best but what a stage to bang in a couple of goals and get back on track.. anyone doing that?

Probably Cesc for me. Tevez is a safe but good option. If I wasn't a United fan I'd also consider VDV 😛 , certainly wouldn't warn people off that one though. I see Spurs winning.

I think both nasri & tevez will do little so at least i'd still have some hope left on sunday ha

    Al Habsi Foster
    Skrtel Coleman Rafael Pantsil Djourou

If it's not for a hit, I'd do Skrtel -> City def and bench Rafael and Coleman/Nzogbia or Pantsil/Adam depending on how you see the Wig-Ful match going.

Otherwise, I'd bench Skrtel and Rafael/Nzog or Pantsil/Adam.

bench al habsi, pantsil, rafael - would personally hate to pick one from the rest but rvp or berba the next most likely to flop i'd say but personal preference is to keep midfielders over forwards when i can.
      myself i'm picking from:
      hart/foster
      coleman,vidic,huth,onuoha,konchesky
      nani,bale,nasri,VDV,adam
      berba,tevez,varney

probably gonna bench varney, konchesky but can't decide whether to play vidic or onuoha at the back...

city a good chance of a cleanie this weekend but a dearth of certain starters and not cheap - couldn't advise you there

    Tevez Torres

    SUBS: Jussi, Samba, Rafael, Carroll

Got 2 freebies this week so can pretty much bring in anyone with a bit of juggling. Not sure if it's worth making a big move for someone like Fabregas/Lampard or sitting tight and using my 2 freebies next week during the DGW. What ya reckon?

I have one place in my defence up for grabs as i'm going to ship out Konchesky so who to bring in for pinhead? My defender shortlist is: Hangeland, Pantsil, Alcaraz, Gohouri, GJohnson and Evatt. Thoughts gents?

except this time he's playing a team down the bottom of the table...and he scored the last time he played against wolves, in the FA Cup....

Who play from Bradsley, Rafael, Skrtel & Evatt?
I'm thinking of benching Rafael, what do you think?

I wouldn't be expecting a clean sheet from any of those teams but i think Rafael has good attackin threat, as does Evatt so take your pick from Bardsley and Skrtel to bench.

      I'd bench Skrtel.

yeah i'm not expecting any cleanies really, although maybe Evatt? Think i'll bench rafa due to more goal threat from Skrtel

See alot of goals in the West Brom v blackpool game TBH but good chance of goal/assist for Evatt. not much in it really so benh rafa if you want, he is more attacking and more likely to get an assist but Skrtel is dangerous from cornes and free's... really just a flip of the coin. Bardsly probally has the bench chance of a cleanie.

Think I'm the only one that thinks tevez may benefit Dzeko if reports are true off dzeko being the centre of a front 3. Surely with someone competent beside him their could be a few assists coming his way at least. Hands down captain for me

All except Stockdale. Seems pointless bringing him in when he will only play 2 or 3 more games. Begovic rotates well with Foster, and you can afford him

I rather Foster Stockdale, after fulham double Stockdale can just remain benched all year as Foster even in tougher fixtures rakes in the save points.

Was thinking Nasri > Fabregas, but now thinking more Drogba > RVP as there is a lot of doubt surrounding him! Any opinions? Could just leave it and hope for the best.

Had a few pints and sitting here reminiscing with a few friends. We where all at this game back in October 2002 and surely you don't have to be an Everton fan to appreciate this goal. Brilliant, just shy of 17 years of age.

evatt is seriously bugging me. he's averaging about 6ppg lately and i have no idea how. imo he's massivley overperforming and the evatt who got 19 points in the first 12 gameweeks was the real evatt

if you're going blackpool it has to be evatt based on stats. centre back assists are a complete lottery which he has 3 of lately. very very confused 🙁
