There are three exciting developments concerning our Members Area today. Firstly, and most significantly we’ve slashed the price of Membership for the rest of the season to just £10.

You can now sign up and get the full Members Ticker, the customisable and feature-filled Next Six Ticker plus of course access to our sortable tables of OPTA player and team performance statistics. All that for a tenner; plus there’s more to come with news of updated Player Projections for the FPL game…

The second piece of news however concerns the Opta stats. We are now out of Beta for Phase Two of the Members area which means that, in addition to cumulative stats over the season, you can now view statistics for players and teams by the Gameweek. Members can use filters to analyse performance over the current and last Gameweek and the last two, four and six Gameweeks. Using the Advanced Filters you can also set up your own ranges and choose to view averages by Games Played, rather than absolute data.

The final development, as promised, concerns the Player Projections – we’ve been working to update these in time for the Gameweek 22 Fantasy Premier League Wildcards and I’m please to say that these have now been updated.

What are Player Projections?
These are our predictions for all the vital FPL stats for every player in the game – predicted until the end of the season. Basically they allow you to view a predicted return for players and we’ve included a field that shows points gained from Gameweek 22 to the end of the season to cater for your Wildcard needs.

How were they put together?
We built these new Projections from scratch rather than work with the existing data. The sortable tables are based on FPL performance so far with modifiers applied for the difficulty of their remaining fixtures and their current form. We’ve also used the OPTA data to apply further modifiers based on the analysis of players performance that these stats allow.

How do I use the Projections?
Basically if you’re playing your Wildcard, these tables can be used to view a projected return for goals, assists, clean sheets, FPL Bonus and of course, FPL total points for all the top players. We’ve included sortable tables of the top 25 Keepers, 100 Defenders, 100 Midfielders and 50 Strikers.

Will they be updated?
These projections have been built specifically with the Gameweek 22 Wildcard in mind. They won’t be updated each week but may well get a refresh later in the season, prior to the final run-in. We will keep you posted on that.

There are doubtless some minor bugs to fix in the data but I thought it would be great to roll these out to Members now, prior to the Gameweek 23 deadline. The tables will be tweaked over the next few days then I’m sure.

So, all this is now available to Members, while Non-Members can now sign up to get access for just £10 via Paypal or via a cheque or Postal Order to the address below:

Fantasy Football Scout Payment Centre

Cheques should be made payable to “Fantasy Football Scout Ltd”.

Thinking of getting in Glen Johnson for Konchesky this week (more for next week though)

Seems a decent chance he will play as a winger v Everton and if he does so in GW24 too he could bring some decent returns.

Or am I mad in thinking this and should go for Hangeland instead?

If you can still be persuaded then I'd captain Tevez ahead of VDV if I had him. Even if Dzeko plays a chunk of the game it is likely to be alongside Tevez which increases his attacking returns in my opinion. I think he struggles (if that's the right word!) when he plays as the lone target man.

I'm just worried about Tevez' points returns at eastlands, VDV has a great record at WHL and united haven't exactly been watertight away from home... Wolves have already caused a few shocks aswell this season including beating city already! I may regret it but sure its all part of the game! 🙂

A well reasoned argument, it can't possibly backfire 😉

I have a sneaky feeling Spurs might do the impossible and actually get a result against United, so don't let me talk you out of it any more! Good luck.

Yeah it does make a difference but you still have an awful lot of eggs in one basket, even if it is just for a week. But for an 8 point hit you give yourself a lot of work to do

Ok for no hit should i keep:

            Malouda Adam Bale VDV Nani

            Carroll Varney Torres

            (Torres -> Tevez)

but i want to rid myself of varney haha

I'm just going to make sure that the members area doesn't influence my transfers too much. By looking at the stats, Brunt has more chance of assists but Dorrans has more goal threat through shots on goal..

im thinking a snealy punt on dorrans in time for their double could be a great call

I might join you. He's been impressive recently and really should of had points to show for it, especially against Man Utd & Bolton.

Pretty sure he'll get a goal soon! 😀

as long as its not BEFORE i get him in, then that sounds sweet.

Gona go your way strategy wise,
wildcard tomorrow at 12 o clock ,then a few discreet changes before 27, sorted!

spent a good 2 hours tinkering on an excel sheet trying to work it out! a waste of time really, but it felt good 🙂

Yeah, for certain I'm wildcarding this week! Just going to activate it in the evening, cos if Nasri scores a hatrick and Fabregas gets the just the one I wouldn't want to wildcard as much! 😉

Dorrans will actually score tomorrow now, he scored in both games against Blackpool last year! 😀

ah it will only give him a taste for it if he does 😀

Fulham i reckon, may be a couple of boring 0-0's on the cards which would be great!

Don't like the look of Wigan at the emirates, b'pool are at home but generally concede at least 1, Hangeland is a decent bet, Stoke at home & away at Liverpool, gets the odd goal & BP's too
