With the free wildcard window well and truly open, there’s a lot more to ponder this week for us fantasy mangers. If you’ve already succumbed and activated yours, then there is just over an hour to make any final tinkering. If, like me, you have resisted, then the normal ritual applies (or do as I, and close your eyes and pray this week).

Whatever you situation, the Saturday Surgery is here to take you through the deadline…

As always, there are some useful places on the site to visit this morning, particularly if you’re yet to finalise your plans. The Team News section houses all the predicted line-ups for this weekend. Check out the Injuries and Bans page to see how long your fantasy stars are absent for. Last night’s Scout Picks are also worth a gander, with prospective players for this upcoming gameweek highlighted.

Lastly, don’t forgot to consider this week’s Captain’s Poll, which you’ll find on the middle column of the site’s home page. The people have spoken, and at the top this week is Carlos Tevez with a comprehensive 37% of the total votes.

    Which fixtures for GWs 27-28 are subject to change and for what reason?
    Birmingham-everton in Gw27 will be moved to gw28 if birmingham go through to the carling cup final ahead of west ham?
    Will
    Tottenham-arsenal in Gw28 be moved if arsenal get to the cc final? When will it be moved to?
    Are there any other possible fixture changes?

    I sold Brunt for N’Zogbia because of Wigans DGW next week… but seeing him in the Dream Team and FF Scout Picks has made me a little weary…

    Have I made the right decision?

    I should mention that I do plan to bring Brunt back in for his DGW in week 27… so there was some method to my perceived madness… 😉

      Yeah, Tevez and cap should offset anything Drog can do.

      That said, I've gone for both on my WC, but if Drog delivers anything less than a goal and some bonus, then he's gone for Berba/Rooney next week.

    can someone give me some input to my team selection this week? please. 🙂 i'm thinkin foster, bosingwa, coleman, bardsley, Nani, Fabregas, Nasri, vdv, adam, rvp, Tevez © ...bench - kingson, rafael, pantsil, carroll. i could swap rafael to kolarov (Risky in my opinion) and bring him back next week...means benching coleman though. any thoughts?

    Any word on Carroll?Will he be starting,or should I bench him and do Barton->N'Zogbia and go 3-5-2?Team as follows:

    Foster,
    Kolarov,Coleman,D.Collins,
    Nani,Nasri,Adam,VdV(C),
    Drog,Tevez,Carroll.
    Subs: Krul,Barton,Jara,Evatt.(1 free transfer,4.5 in bank)

      I'm playing Barton with Carroll as first sub. A little worried that Barton will get too fired up and be sent off but gambling all the same. Bringing in N'Zog next week but if it would be free for you I don't think it's a bad shout at all

        It's a freebie,and I don't want to play Barton this week as I think the BPs will be stolen away by Bent/Gyan/Welbeck/Onuoha/A.Ferdinand,etc. this week.What do you think about Carroll->Berba??I can see plenty of goals in that game.

          Yeah forget the Carroll first sub thing I see he's now not in with a shout at all. If you'll lose a lot of value by selling Carroll just beware that you may not get him back without sacrificing another area of your team. N'Zog and Berba have DGWs coming up and I like the look of both. Which you go for though I'd have to say is your shout. As I'm keeping Carroll I would go N'Zog (and I'll drop Droggers next week for Berba or Rooney).

    I'm probably going to have 10 players starting next week, all with DGW (Nasri kept in just to have some Arsenal coverage). Thing is, should I bring in Dempsey, Young or N'Zog for the last midfield place. The rest of the team....
