Following that we have a colossal seven fixtures this afternoon and evening. At 3pm Arsenal host Wigan, Blackpool kick-off their home double against Darren Bentless Sunderland, West Ham travel to Steven Pienaarless Everton, Fulham welcome the visit of Stoke, Man United take on Birmingham and Spurs are up at Newcastle.

Then, this evening, big-spenders Man City face big-spenders Aston Villa at Villa Park.

    Why do FPL seem to go with BBC's usually error prone reporting on assists like its the bible? Surely they can get a more reliable source,like good old TV...
    That Rooney assist is more blatantly obvious than a pink elephant

      The BBC get their minute by minute reporting for each game from the Press Association, the same people that FPL get theirs from. It's the same feed, hence the correlation.

      It boggles the amount of people who still ask this question.

      They don't. The BBC use the Press Association text and stats for the individual game feeds as does the FPL site.

      You'll notice that the BBC's own all-match live text (written on the fly by a BBC journo) clearly states that it was a ROoney assist.
