Gameweek 24, and the second week of the wildcard window, is almost upon us. If you’re still undecided on which transfers to go with, the Saturday Surgery is here to help (or at least point you in the right direction)…
As this is our first ‘serious’ double gameweek of the season, make yourself familiar with the fixtures. The season ticker should be your first port of call, but Wednesday’s Frisking The Fixtures breaks that down further.
If, like me, you haven’t activated your second wildcard yet, then don’t look too far ahead. In fact, only look as far ahead as this week. You’ll need info on all the clubs with two fixtures this week then? No problem… Man United, Blackpool, Fulham, Liverpool, Wigan and Aston Villa.
Failing that, this week Scout Picks narrows your search down to 14 players.
Once you’ve got a few players in mind, checking the Injuries and Bans table and Team News section should now be a given. There you can check that your squad ‘should’ play this week.
Finally, you have to select a captain. Unsurprisingly, double gameweek players top the Captain’s Poll. Leading the pack easily is Manchester United’s Luis Nani, with 41% of the votes.
