That is a quality goal by any player's standard. As said above every touch is near perfect.
Exceptional goal, he gets a hard time, some deserved, most of the time he is just an easy target because of his ridiculous hair and ego. A fine player, not necessarily an Arsenal player to me.
Not disputing it was a valuable contribution, but find it strange that people are taking these two incidents and converting that into a good performance by Bendtner. He was (as per usual) rubbish today.

Today was not any of his better games to be honest, and I do think he's a good player. Could have easily had a hat trick if he would have been a bit more alert.

Decent, but not much to do.
Might sound weird because Huddersfield were great, but almost every shot of theirs went just outside the post rather than anywhere Almunia could save it.

Probably John Terry. Was quite amusing yesterday to see him lose teh first 2 contests v Saha yesterday.
Then Saha scored against him again.
Terry is one of the best defenders in the league and has been since 2001. I've lost count of the amount of times he's made the forwards of Arsenal(Henry included), United and Liverpool look absolutely shit.

Which from my experiences is very true. While the likes of Cole , Scholes, Shearer were held in high regard for there ability and performances in top level games many of my friends from many nations, team mates again in different countries and foreign press have often joked about how overated Beckham and Terry are with little to show regarding top level performances .
Uefa teams of the year are farcical at best and have included many dodgy selections. The fact that Terry plays for 2 very commerical teams in the most publiced league in the world helps him massively.
I dont think he is crap or anything but just above average and lucky to had the career he has had.
He has been at fault for so many important goals.
But more importantly has failed at the highest level on numerous occasions. The recent world cup providing the best example where he got the limelight for some dogy defending against a mediocre slovenia team and yet was destroyed when the push came to the shove.
I think to suggest Terry is among the best defenders of his generation is an insult to the Cannavarso, Nestas, Rio, Vidic, Puyol, Ayala's, Thurams, etc etc

As much as i despise Terry as a human being, he's one of the best defenders in the world without a shadow of a doubt.
There is a middle ground here, Terry is a good example of a typical English centreback. Like a good Steven Taylor he is brave, strong and good in the air. Vidic is in a similar mould, but personally I think Vidic is better than Terry.
I prefer a defender like Woodgate or Carvalho though, more a thinking defender rather than a bombastic type.

True that. The thinking one is more important and harder to find though, Woodgate managed to make Andy O'Brien look like a good defender for a couple of seasons, I think Chelsea look far more vulnerable without Carvalho, and United always look ropey without Ferdinand.

Proposed WC team looking good jams. Have you considered Malouda? He's 9.5 and possibly rising. Cahill's not a bad option either. He'll be back for GW26 I think.
Not too keen on Chelsea's fixtures though. Two tough away games, and Utd and Liverpool at home, plus no double.
Cahill is definitely an option, if he is going to definitely play against Blackpool then I may go for him. He did excellently for me earlier in the season.
Id probably get a cheaper midfielder with your 9.8 and use the excess to sort out that defence. Staying loyal to jara is nonsensical, even with an 'easy' double. And kolorov well hes just became a bit of a joke really hasnt he? Doubling up on brum defence would be good if they still had a triple but id say an unneccesary risk for only a double. Unless of course you plan on playing begovic for stokes unfavourable double which is my opinion not likely to yield much points.
I like doubling up on Birmingham for weeks 27 and 29, and hopefully the rest of my defence can cover for week 28.

Much more importantly than the usual form of B-string Bendy, Shava had a much better game today - should have had an assist if NB could hit a barn door, as well as making a crucial goal-saving tackle.

Don't you do the same with Kalou? He's the same as Bendtner, gets lots of chances because of his movement, and is often involved in goals when he plays so how is it that Bendtner is class and Kalou isn't?
There have been plenty of occasions this season where Kalou has started and has done absolutely nothing.
If Bendtner played the same amount of games as Kalou had, there would be plenty of games where he wouldn't have done anything aswell.

I thought that too but when you look at GW27, those teams with doubles also have very favourable fixtures in GW's 25 & 26 meaning waiting until GW27 could mean you have missed some decent points from the likes of RVP, Fabs, Berbs, Adam, VDV etc...
Couple that with price changes, injuries and the ongoing transfer saga's the more i think about the more i believe now is the right time to WC.
