You can almost taste the romance of a Gameweek under floodlights. A midweek Fantasy deadline is upon us which presents the usual opportunity to sneak some last minute squad tweaks, armed with “actual real-life” teamsheets.

There are four matches tonight at the Emirates, Old Trafford, the Stadium of Light and the Hawthorns. Should you wish to gain the advantage of some early insight into the lineups from those games then the best place to source the information is our Dugout Discussion Chatroom.

Evening all. Looking for some advice on whether to use my wc tonight or wait until the end of gw26. As it stands right now, the only change I would make for this weekend would be Nasri to Dempsey/Young/Walcott.

I'm tempted to beat price rises, but would also like to see how the dust settles in regards to the transfer window signings. Thoughts?

    Hmmm. Using it now to beat price rises and have 2 freebies to unload after the double gw VS seeing how teams gel with (also with othe competitions in mind) and a longer amount of days to catch double price risers. Tough choice.

excelent day, glad i didnt try and figure a wildcard out

all my players that played performed and done well

zog, rvp, fab, nani, vidic ...gordon only one that didnt do great with just a 2 but good week so far

pity i benched coleman for kolarov but who knows what may happen with him yet, coleman sub 1 none the less

Up to a respectable 14k

from what i seen today, vidic' goal was fantastic, rvp takes a good corner, the zog is the man and thats bout it

where is this debate over the fabregas assist coming from. yes there was a deflection but:
did it alter the direction of the pass? nope
did the header stop the ball from going to howard? nope, the angle of the pass is actually going slightly away from howard.

the coleman assist is a completely different case as the delflection massively alters the direction of the pass.

Condolences to Granville and his WC choice this week of Modric, who had an emergency appendicitis operation last night and will miss the next two games for Spurs. (source: In the public tweets section.) As a newbie, I love Granvilles recorded sessions with Mark.

I remember playing my first American Fantasy Football game of the 2007 season and losing Deuce McAllister, star running back for the New Orleans Saints, to his broken leg 15 minutes into his first game of the season. I got the FPL equivalent of about a half point and Deuce was out for the season. You don't forget these anomalies in the fantasy world- lmao. It's just a game.

        Not interested in H2H mate. I see the organisers POV. Would have to make 2 sides in that case etc. I have a $200 bet riding against my mate for overall points already. State of Origin makes using trades then important unlike H2H where you save them til the finals. Thanks for the invite though. 🙂

        Good luck with it, Dallas Johnson is back from England and looks a steal at $158k. My team will be Chilli Dogs so keep an eye out for it (hopefully up the top somewhere :D)

        Chris Houston is $94K, only need 23 more players now. If H2H is your focus then SOO will see any chance of being up there go down the drain. Not sure what my team name will be. My mate has come 3rd overall for 2 years running, it's burning him big time. $30K would be nice...

        Yeah true, always good to see QLD kick NSW butt tho 😀 Everyone will have Houston and Johnson. See Ryan Tandy got arrested today for that for that attempted penalty sting last season. I reckon Tolman will be a good buy too. Obviously you ready the Daily Telegraph tips etc

        Had a read earlier, more coming out Friday. Had Tolman last season but at $300K, I am not sure if he will start in my team. Need to prepare early for the byes etc & try to save the trades for the finish line.

        True, I ran out with 1 round to go last year.
        Tolman about $250k they reckon.
        This guy looks OK too - Tariq Sims, 20, prop: (Broncos): Toyota Cup Player of the Year who will start at $87K. Could be one of the best rookie buys of the season
        Also Sam Kasiano -not sure of price tho

        NRL Rick James, altho I have entered an AFL one as well but prefer the NRL (also have a Super 15 Rugby team - I think I have problems coz I have Champions League, Basketball and A-League teams as well)

Dontcha just love those wildcards? Originally planned to use it for this GW(26) for the 2 frees after 27 scenario, but thought team needed surgery for GW 25, so pulled the pin. Now on 41 with 4 to play, had I done nothing to my team I would be on 56 with 6 to play. Dropped Rooney, Vidic and N'Zogbia. Also dropped Bardsley, but he was on bench last week any way. Also dropped Tevez, so cue hat-trick tonight.

Still think I made right med-long term decisions though.

  That is a decent team. Unlucky this week, but happens with everyone at some point.
  But why did you play Carr ahead of Coleman ? Bir will surely concede and you dont even have Tevez. Coleman atleast gets attacking points

    Thought Everton attacking points would be thin on the ground, but for a blind linesman I was right. Birmingham usually pretty tight at home.
