Six more Premier League matches, six more opportunities to add to our Gameweek totals – sadly, after last night’s heavyweight bouts, the Fantasy talent on show looks somewhat limited.

Carlos Tevez will carry the hopes of some as City take on Birmingham at St Andrews, Dutch maestro Rafael Van der Vaart will do his bit for Spurs at Blackburn. Elsewhere, the ever-popular wantaway Charlie Adam will be spraying passes around and over the accommodating West Ham defence and Clint Dempsey will be shooting on sight with Newcastle dropping by the Cottage.
Aside from that, we will all be hoping to find clean sheets. There might just be more chance of finding Germaine Greer on Andy Gray’s Facebook friend list.

Follow the fortunes of all these players and Johan Elmander’s latest attempt at prising the wheel clamp from his bandwagon, in tonight’s Dugout Discussion chatroom. The doors are open. Granville’s doing the teas.

        Not sure, he's not played in ages and I doubt he'd get a run enough to make him worth the investment.

      thats about the right price - he's 26 and utd didnt even want him so was virtually a free agent.

      you can't compare tevez/villa sale prices to Carroll because their situations were totally different. (assuming thats what you were referencing via that tevez price.)

          OK they wanted him, but weren't prepared to pay what he was worth - £32mill is just about what they paid for Berbs so they had the cash, just didnt want to spend it on Tevez meaning there was only really one bidder keeping the price low and not going stupid..

      arsenal Tottenham will have to have their game rearranged from 26th Feb(GW28). Now Arsenal have these fixtures:

      * 12th Feb – Wolves (GW27)
      * 16th Feb – Barcelona
      * 19th Feb – FA Cup 5th Round
      * 22nd Feb – Stoke (GW27)
      * 27th Feb – Carling cup Final
      * 1st March/2nd March – No Fixture Planned
      * 5th March – Sunderland (GW29)
      * 8th March – Barcelona
      * 12th March – FA Cup 6th Round

      So as you can see there is a spare slot on 1st March/2nd March for a fixture. Now if Arsenal or Tottenham get to the 5th round and draw their game this would mean this Date would be for the replay so Arsenal Vs Tottenham will not happen in GW28. If they don’t have to face a replay the game could happen. I must stress this is not definite. It as something that could happen as Chelsea Vs Manchester United is on March 1st so they could easily put Arsenal Vs Tottenham there.

            27 is where the points are gonna be had. I reckon having a wildcard so you can make up to date transfers for that week is the best tactic. International games too.

            Teams are a bit all over the place right now with the transfer window just closed, i reckon an extra week before making choices could be very important.

            It looks like i'm gonna take a 4 point hit this week just so i can wait til next week.
