Six more Premier League matches, six more opportunities to add to our Gameweek totals – sadly, after last night’s heavyweight bouts, the Fantasy talent on show looks somewhat limited.

Carlos Tevez will carry the hopes of some as City take on Birmingham at St Andrews, Dutch maestro Rafael Van der Vaart will do his bit for Spurs at Blackburn. Elsewhere, the ever-popular wantaway Charlie Adam will be spraying passes around and over the accommodating West Ham defence and Clint Dempsey will be shooting on sight with Newcastle dropping by the Cottage.
Aside from that, we will all be hoping to find clean sheets. There might just be more chance of finding Germaine Greer on Andy Gray’s Facebook friend list.

Follow the fortunes of all these players and Johan Elmander’s latest attempt at prising the wheel clamp from his bandwagon, in tonight’s Dugout Discussion chatroom. The doors are open. Granville’s doing the teas.

      Why only for this week? Fixtures are good for Everton for a long time yet. Baines if you can afford him. Coleman is the budget alternative. I'd keep whichever one you get when WCing given that Everton have a DGW in GW29.

      I am. Well that is if Cahill is a go. Went with Ashley Young over him this past GW25, and replacing Young w/ Cahill. Cahill>Adam, besides, Everton look to be working themselves into form. Seemed like they they were more valuable from a Fantasy aspect when their Strikers (Saha...) were thuroughly ineffective.

      Nasri out definitely. Young could be good, although you really need Adam for GW27 and maybe for the rest of the season.

      So imo, Nasri -> A Young AND Yaya -> Adam or
      Nasri -> Adam

            No, I suppose not. I just managed to get into lead of my mini league. No reason to do silly trsfrs.

            I will do Brunt-->Bentley for gw 29 though when Brum have another double.

            Im trying to get my head around doing Fab-->Cahill/young for gw 28. Don't know which one.

    Keeper thoughts please. I've had Foster since day 1, but, his recent form hasn't been out of this world and with Dann out, Brum seem to be conceding more and look weaker at the back.

    With this in mind I'm considering shipping him out for 4.8 and bringing in Begovic & Gordon for the run in.

    Their fixtures rotate moderately well and it'll give me an extra .5 to spend elsewhere.

    Thoughts?

    Lads, simple question... even with the DGW, has DJ Campbell run his course? Villa and Spurs in the DGW isn't exactly easy, and he has pretty poor fixtures after that.

        Yep that's what I'm thinking, DJ to Tevez this week. I've hung on the DJ with the DGW in mind, but looking at it properly, it doesn't actually look to promising. Think Charlie Adam is enough Blackpool for the rest of the season.

          Already got Odem! I'll be going Odem / Berbs / Tevez. Don't think there's any chance RVP will play both games in the DGW, so going to risk leaving him out.

        GK's rarely get them so to give to a losing keeper concededing 2 is mental. It must be some star base thing with saves earning more points than goals let in. That can't be down to a human being judgement. Plus do they really have a big team of people watching everygame to choose BP's for a free website??

          Didnt see the game myself but a collegue who was there last night (Liverpool fan) said their keeper kept them in it. He also has Meireles in his side, says he's playing more attacking under Kenny, might be worth a punt as a differential?

      His price will only go south until he's back.

      I sold him for 5.9, one of the best moves I've made this season as some still have him on their bench whilst his value shoots down.

      I reckon he could be around 5.8 by the time he's back.

    These double gameweeks are peeving me off. Have a wildcard to use and feel like being railroaded into buying players i dont want simply because they have an extra game.

    I want to pick the likes of Bent Young and suarez , but i know i will end up with all the usual suspacts

    As for kolorov he fecks me off more than anyone. Does Hart ever keep a clean sheet when Kolorov plays? he needs dropping if city want to win the league

        Fulham have hard time scoring away. Last 2 clean sheets for them was Home game and they conceded against Liverpool and dint score any.

        Agreed they have improved, but villa are a much better side now

        Looks like i will go for Villa defender (may be collins is safe)

        I have Evatt and Glen Johnson n want to get rid of them....

    Anyone watch pool/stoke last night? Is huth safe to bring in, no knocks or anything. Planned transfer is Hangeland->Huth. For the weekend:

    Szczesny (Myhill)

    Coleman, Huth, Carr

    Fabs, Nani, VDV, Adam

    Tevez(C), Berbatov, RVP

    (Brunt, Simpson, Kelly)

    Huth gives me a double for GW27 and a nice fixture in GW28 when the squad will be thin, scores the odd goal. Sound?

    Anyone doubling up on Birmingham defenders? I was planning on Foster and Johnson, but i've played around with my team dropping Johnson for Djourou allowing me to get N'Zogbia for Barton:-

      48 is the cut off score, some 47's survived. 428 in before the GW, roughly 20 out before hits. Give it 24 hours before I start deleting teams just in case of score changes.

    Have a transfer window where 3 transfers can be made.

    The next window is available AFTER GW30, so looking for the best players until that date.
