There may only be one Premier League fixture tonight but it’s one of huge significance, both for our Fantasy Football fortunes and on the destination of the Premier League title. Manchester United are the visitors, and Chelsea are the hosts.

With Chelsea fifteen points adrift and having a turbulent season, it’s United who are looking to edge closer to that 19th Premier League trophy. More importantly of course, it’s United who are featuring in their second game of the gameweek, meaning most of us are loaded up with their players.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Anelka, Torres, Malouda

Man United XI: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Rooney

Sir Alex has named his first unchanged team since May 2008 (thanks Shreevesy), meaning Dimitar Berbatov is once again left in favour of Mexican sensation Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.

As for the Champions, and they also leave a big name striker on the bench in Didier Drogba, with Carlo Ancelotti clearly hoping Fernando Torres’ supposed hoodoo over Nemanja Vidic surfaces tonight.

    When Adam picked up his his suspension I decided to bite the bullet and play my 2nd wildcard, brought in A. Young, O'Hara, Luis, Sturridge, Rooney, and Cahill. Prob best FPL gameweek ever, happy days!

    RVP can sit on the bench for 2 gameweeks I think - and should be back in time for his DGW hopefully.
    Cahill, Odem & Barton have to go for me now. Beckford now looks a viable option with Cahill out...yuk.

    I have finished joint top in the manager of the month in my mini league. How will the game rank us? we have both used 1 wildcard in Feb but he has made 4 transfers in feb (not including wildcard transfers) compared to my 3. does that mean i win?

      Johnson - should be ok
      Barton - not heard but doesnt seem too serious, would think he would be back

      its a close call, would be tempted myself.

      alternative is to bench Vidic Cahill and Johnson and get a new striker in for RVP, you should be able to get an 11 out.

            He really wasn't his passing was wayward and he barely made a memorable tackle then tripped Zhirkov and lost them the game.

              He only misplaced two passes to my mind. One was an ambitious attempt at a through ball, the other was a cross field pass into space which was completely inconsequential. Regardless- he was probably the second/third best defender on the pitch.

            See response above Gran - I think he's been a godsend for Fergie with Ferdinand out, but one unlucky moment may aggravate him short-term.

            I for one, hope he can shrug it off and get on with his game. Fergie's "arm round the shoulder" treatment should work wonders 😉

        I'm tired, and I've got man flu, and the baby is most alert and awake between 10pm and 2am and keeps vomiting it's feed. but before I cry on your shoulder, it's actually fine. he's a good lad.

      I had something similar. Massive poo explosion on 91 mins. Not so easy to clean up whilst your head is focussed on the TV.
