Just a heads-up to everyone wanting to participate in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup who have not yet submitted their entry, that the deadline to do so is at 7pm this evening.

We’ve had a record number of entries so far and with Gameweek 29 scores so diverse, the qualifying mark is hard to predict. More on that once tonight’s deadline has passed.

Full details, including how to enter, can be found by clicking here.

With Campbell still injured is it safe to say that Gyan will be up top and Wellbeck will be in support in more of a second striker role than a wing role? Also, do we think Wellbeck will start?

Here's what wikipedia says, which varies a little bit.
            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbonara

Didn't appear before WWII, italians don't use cream, and the egg must be added raw and cook in the residual heat of the pasta.

I remember Rick Stien making it, and did a quick check on another (terrible - it used cheddar intead of paresan!!!) recipe before making it.

cheap, with some form following Arsenal result, and good fixtures. Liverpool this weekend could see them bag some points, bench next week then and good-ish from there on in. Most people are looking to ship the likes of Barton/Brunt/Zigic/Coleman/Kolarov/Djourou, so Sunderland players allow for cash to be freed up for the likes of Bramble/Wellbeck/Gordon (or whichever keeper is in favour)/Gyan.

Really? Have you seen their fixtures? With Cattermole back they should be more defensively sound, and Welbeck returning brings energy up front.

I'm gonna have Mignolet, Bramble and Welbeck pretty soon!

    Current team:
    Hart, Foster
    Rafael, Coleman, Johnson, Walker, Kelly
    Nasri, Nani, Fab, Arteta, Brunt
    Tevez, Zigic, Saha

Bit of a state right now went a bit nuts for the dgw after a few frustrating weeks which obviously didn't work out too well!

Looking at doing Tevez & Arteta out for Bale and RVP for a 4 point hit is that worth while or is there something better I should be doing?

Don't know whether this has reached the British media yet, but Johan Djourou gave an interview with the Swiss newspaper "20 Minuten" yesterday evening in which he didn't rule himself out for the rest of the season. Could be just footballer's optimism though.

    http://www.20min.ch/sport/fussball/story/Djourou--Reicht-es-fuer-Bulgarien--22093552

    Translation of the relevant sections:

[...]20 Minuten: Dislocating your shoulder sounds painful.
Johan Djourou: Oh yes. It was a very painful experience. I'm not allowed to move my arm at the moment. But I'm already feeling a lot better.

    20 Minuten: What happens next?
Djourou: I hope my season isn't over. My shoulder was "pulled out", so to speak, but I didn't fall on it. That would have been worse.

20 Minuten: Your coach Arsène Wenger said after the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United that this would mean the end of your season.
Djourou: Yes, but on Monday I'll have another examination. Then I'll know more.

20 Minuten: The Swiss national team plays Bulgaria in two weeks time in a Euro 2012 qualifier. Do you think that you could even be ready for then?
Djourou: I don't know. The bones are OK. A lot will depend on what condition the ligaments are in. If the doctors say that I can play again at the weekend, then I want to be there in Sofia.

20 Minuten: Have you already been in contact with the Swiss national coach Ottmar Hitzfeld?
Djourou: Yes, he sent me a text message and asked how I was. I told him that I wasn't giving up hope of being with the squad in Sofia.

This would be quite helpful, actually. I'm happy with my 3 defenders I'm fielding this week without Djourou, so I'm not planning on selling him. If news comes out that he is better than expected (a la Nani) before I use a transfer then that's good for me.

That was my initial reaction too. (i did the same injury 3 times when playing). So unless he was gona have surgery then time to let it heal could mean a return this season. - thats why I found Wengers initial out for the season comments as bizarre as it general takes more than 20min to decide what is needed for recovery

History of this injury with a host of other professionals has shown quicker recoveries than other joints.

Did you have surgery in the end? I dislocated my shoulder 3.5 years ago taking a tumble playing badminton (broke my ankle at the same time... happy days). I had physio etc which I guess sorted it out to an extent, but I can no longer throw a cricket ball properly, my shoulder jars and I get serious pain for a couple of minutes. So I know have to under-arm it in or throw like a girl... neither look too good!

Took me about a year to come back (shoulder and muscle wastage was fairly alarming, my biceps, shoulder etc was tiny and had to try to write again after 6 weeks in a locked sling with 0 motion allowed - college was fun for a few weeks!)and play again but cant really do the same things as before and that crocked shoulder is not as strong, gets sore very easy (cold evenings, simply holding stuff for a few minutes etc.)

Surgeon said about 10% of cases will dislocate again even after the operation so i try to take it abit handy. But i gave a right good doing over 2 years back down hill skiing and took a fair few falls etc so should be alright i guess for no future dislocations.

          Have you considered surgery?

Christ... 6 weeks in a locked sling wouldn't be too hot for me, I'm a self-employeed designer so no sick pay!! Sounds bloody nasty that. I think my first step is just to go back to a sports physio, and a get a pro opinion. The way my shoulder feels though I think surgery may be the only option, as the way it jars feels like joint / cartiladge rather than muscular.

Ya locked sling was a real balls. After which arm was so weak i actually couldn't lift a cup of tea!
Dont know about Physio advice, they are good and all its just they will nearly always want you to remain with them so they can treat you and try make you stronger that way so wouldnt advice surgery much.

I was lucky in the since that my local gp was out when i called in for the 3rd time and met a GP who was covering from South Africa who had worked for South African rugby teams for a few years in U 20 world cups etc and had a good bit of sports injuries experience, far more than your average GP and he recommended surgery straight away.

Maybe try to get a few different opinions cos it will comprise you no doubt into the future. My shoulder was so bad prior to surgery it actually dislocated without any contact while i was just turning on the field so for me the surgery was necessary just for day to day living.

If its just sports related then the sad advice may be to cut back on the sports unless you want to commit to that kind or rehab and time out.

If you look in the FFS league, there are well over 500 people with 70+

I'm not confident that my score is enough.

Really hope the fixture is once again well and truly shaken up with the FA Cup semi finals so that we our fantasy skills are heavily tested again before the end of the season.

This week who would you bench out of:
Huth, Rafael, Walker, Coleman & R.J

Thinking RJ but then considering playing 4-5-1 as my strikers are weaker and all four have good home games.

Yeah I would agree with your 4-5-1 and bench RJ especially as you have Foster no need to double up when they are away from home.

I wouldn't mind playing all of them but i would say bench Coleman or RJ between them 5.

You have a good team for this week, you should expect a 7th green arrow in a row, good going.

I would bench Johnson out of that lot, but close run thing with Coleman who I have and I hate having, his OOP status was such a red herring for me, total turkey since I have him!

Anyone out there play Fifa 11 Ultimate Team, well I started yesterday and my team is crraaaaaapppp, onviously. I played a few average players, I say this, because I was better but I couldn't compete with the pace of their better teams.

So, I went into the market, signed a 75 rated midfielder, and when I put him in my team it said that his contract had expired, so does this mean I bought a dud player? If so, wtf? What do I do? I presume you just have to bunker in and play 5 man defences to get points in the early days to upgrade your team?

That contract expiry put me right off, so I had seconds to decide whether I wanted to bid for him and then he can't play?!

I tried playing but got bored with the silly transfer system. Its really user unfriendly. i just stick to head to heads where I invariably get beaten by some teenager with faster skills.

I think Fifa's ultimate team is a pretty lame way of replicating PES's excellent master league, which keeps it simple.

I expect it to be revamped markedly with the next version in the autumn.

    hi

Good news about Nani. But I'm still doubt over his chance to "easy" game vs Bolton.

Considering these transfers tonight.. What do you think?
    Kolarov > Baines
    Tevez > RVP

    Team:
    Foster , Begovic
    Kolarov , Huth , RJ , Coleman , Kelly
    Nani , Lampard , Barton , Nasri , A.Young
    Zigic , Rooney , Tevez
