For those without Wayne Rooney owners, Saturday was a painful day (I bet you did better than me though). Hopefully there’s something on offer this Mothering Sunday, with two Premier League fixtures to close the gameweek out (good riddance).

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open in time for Blackpool’s trip to Craven Cottage. The team sheets have been handed in and read like this…

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Baird, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Duff, Etuhu, Murphy, Dempsey, Zamora, Dembele
Blackpool XI: Kingson, Baptiste, Cathcart, Evatt, Crainey, Grandin, Adam, Vaughan, Ormerod, Beattie, Taylor-Fletcher

Fantasy favourites Charlie Adam and Clint Dempsey both feature as does Fulham striker Bobby Zamora. That’s his first league start since his injury back in gameweek three, and his presence relegates Andy Johnson to the bench. Other than that, Fulham line-up as expected.

As for the visitor’s, DJ Campbell competes his three-match suspension today, which allows Brett Ormerod to play alongside Gary Taylor-Fletcher and James Beattie up front.

On a more comical note, Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed has erected a statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage. No, really.

That monstrosity aside, and it’s perhaps the final game of the day at Eastlands that has our interest, as Man City play hosts to Sunderland. Will Carlos Tevez’s owners be rewarded for holding on? I hope so.

    I'm not doing very well compared to most people on here. About 12000th I think. Plan for next year is to do better than this year! I'll be taking more hits nex yea because I think sometimes it's as much of a gamble NOT to take a hit as to take one.
    
    Apart from that I just go for value and try to plan longterm rather than short term
    
    But I'm a novice compared to most on here, ask them!

  I think most people looked at Fulham players (Dempsey, Zamora, Dembele etc) and then looked at the next 2 gameweeks and figured that it would only be a 1 week punt if they did get them in.
  
  I liked Dempsey's chances this week but Man Utd next week followed by a blank meant that there really wasn't much immediate long term profit in it. Plus, I figured Zamora's return would start eating into Dempsey's points now, especially as he'll be off pens now.
  
  I wouldn't beat yourself up not getting Fulham players in this week if you didn't already have them in the first place.

I haven't sat and actually watched a live Blackpool game before. I now see what Jamsiep means about Charlie Adam. He's put his team in trouble so many times by mis-controlling, or trying to much and losing the ball, in dangerous areas aswell. Can't see him doing well at Utd, Liverpool or Tottenham.

        TBH, I'm just scarred by the many times Fabs has failed me this season, and can't shake the feeling that his next injury is just around the corner.....
        
        Also, I think the fact that it was the last 20 minutes and blackburn were starting to retreat into their shell had a lot to do with "thing's starting to happen" yesterday......

      Did Fabs get injured yesterday? He's coming back from injury... he'll need a few games to get upto speed. The point is, when he is fit he is a massive FPL threat... still. This is just the same as the Rooney bashers. A few bad games doesn't suddenly make you a rubbish player! Arsenal do seem to be on the slide, but they aren't just going to completely capitulate.

I have 2 frees.
Need to use one of them to doubule up on chelsea defence. is JT a safe bet to go along with luiz.
i can use the other free transfer along with a 4 point hit to get lampard and o hara for 2 of vdv/young/nasri/nani. is that the right way to go? or just get rid of rooney and one of those 4 for hernandez/welback and lampard.
