For those without Wayne Rooney owners, Saturday was a painful day (I bet you did better than me though). Hopefully there’s something on offer this Mothering Sunday, with two Premier League fixtures to close the gameweek out (good riddance).

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open in time for Blackpool’s trip to Craven Cottage. The team sheets have been handed in and read like this…

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Baird, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Duff, Etuhu, Murphy, Dempsey, Zamora, Dembele

Blackpool XI: Kingson, Baptiste, Cathcart, Evatt, Crainey, Grandin, Adam, Vaughan, Ormerod, Beattie, Taylor-Fletcher

Fantasy favourites Charlie Adam and Clint Dempsey both feature as does Fulham striker Bobby Zamora. That’s his first league start since his injury back in gameweek three, and his presence relegates Andy Johnson to the bench. Other than that, Fulham line-up as expected.

As for the visitor’s, DJ Campbell competes his three-match suspension today, which allows Brett Ormerod to play alongside Gary Taylor-Fletcher and James Beattie up front.

On a more comical note, Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed has erected a statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage. No, really.

That monstrosity aside, and it’s perhaps the final game of the day at Eastlands that has our interest, as Man City play hosts to Sunderland. Will Carlos Tevez’s owners be rewarded for holding on? I hope so.

Two alternatives, simple as that. It all comes down to if really HAVE to get rid of Berbatov now, or if I can wait until GW 33.

    A. Coleman and Fabregas OUT, Walker and Lampard IN. With Berbatov OUT the week after (GW 33).

    B. Coleman and Berbatov OUT, Walker and Bent IN. With Lampard IN the week after (GW 33).

A, B, or any other suggestions?

I believe that 'Oop' is used in either situation [backs playing forward, forwards being played back] ... expanded discussion can be found in "Watchlist" articles that detail the rankings found there. Watchlist article is posted about once a month, I think.

I know the feeling. The last 3 weeks I've been confident of scoring well, felt my team was better than rivals in terms of fixtures and players...

And I'm on the worst run ever, really bad scores.

Guess I must've had some luck earlier in the season but this is frustrating!

One rival has just overtaken me from 40 points behind a few weeks ago, another has clawed back 35 out of 50 points!

The PL in general, and SAF in particular, are maddeningly inscrutable ... Rio gets a 'calf starin' in warm-up, slated to be out for the season, then miraculously set to be fit for the run in.

My favourites were The Rock and Stone Cold. Never forgave HHH for running Stone Cold over. What a bastard!

I used to tape the main events and get up early and watch the ending before going to school.

          Royal Rumble was the best.

Lol i used to do the same. Get out of it! Stone Cold used a forklift to pick up a car and dropped it, with HHH still inside. Outrageous scenes.

Tough not to like him, IMO ... of course, injuries and the inability to sleep with other player's wives and/or get caught out showing his abs to prostitutes in a nightclub the night before a game will hamper his celebrity quotient.

'Course, Eric saved his most dramatic moments for the field (er, or whilst leaving it) ... and was generally a model pro off of it. No "Nani & 'Naldo sharing birds"-sorta stuff from him ...

Nice one. It was a gamble - they don't all pay off.

Hangeland may have just rescued my GW. Another 10 pts from Silva would be nice. And, from a mini-league point of view, a goal past Hart would be good.
