A weekend light on Premier League fixtures (and Fantasy Football points in my case), finishes on a potential high as title contenders Arsenal welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium. An important game, both in terms of the destination of the Premier League title and for us Fantasy Managers, you can follow it throughout in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.

The team sheets are in and here is how the sides line-up…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Eboue, Koscielny, Djourou, Clichy, Diaby, Wilshere, Walcott, Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie

Liverpool XI: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Aurelio, Kuyt, Spearing, Lucas, Meireles, Suarez, Carroll

No shocks whatsoever for either team, meaning that Wojciech Szczesny returns from injury as expected/predicted.

Both Wojciech Szczesny and Johan Djourou return to the Arsenal lineup then, handing us Fantasy Managers possible budget options for the remainder of the season once again. Arsene Wenger also starts Theo Walcott on the flank, with Samir Nasri presumably lining up on the left against young John Flanagan in the Liverpool side. Andrey Arshavin has to make do with a bench role once again; he sits alongside Alex Song who returns from injury but watches on as Abou Diaby keeps his starting role. Liverpool are unchanged – Kenny Dalglish keeping faith with the same starting XI that demolished City last time out.

In addition to the Emriates clash, there’s also the FA Cup Semi-Final tie between Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City taking place at Wembley, the team news for which can be found right here courtesy of the ever-reliable SuperDunny. If that’s the game you are watching (and have endured the 90-minute television build-up), then please take a seat in our Dugout Discussion chatroom and inform the rest of us how it’s going.

He wasn't good today Walcott, was he? He doesn't bring enough against a team playing on the counter as Liverpool. He's great in games where the other teams attack in bigger numbers so he gets some space.

          I didn't see the game.

I meant that the 1 BP for Nasri would have been better if Walcott didn't get the clean sheet 1 pointer as I have Nasri and rival has Walcott.

Either way it's just a point so no big deal 🙂

my thoughts on the wenger dalglish row at the end.

Wenger had a little moan, and I can't blame him for that in the circumstances.

Dalglish then started laughing and repeatedly told him to fu ck off.

I don't know exactly what wenger said to dalglish but i dont think it was that bad, more a show of his obvious disappointment (I HAD butterflies and i don't even support either team, so god knows how wenger felt!!)

so i think kenny was being a bit of a prick to be honest.

Whinger was as per usual moaning. Dalglish said that it was a penalty, Arsene disagreed probably and said something to Kenny which riled him. Then Kenny told him to piss off and refused to shake his hand.

My lip reading is not great but I am pretty sure that is what happened.

Wow BP Judges in rational bonus point allocation scandal, happy as a Nasri and RVP owner but thought they would bottle and give Cesc some for his assist.

Nasri was excellent, will be glad to see him go this week though, not enough cutting edge for a fantasy prospect, but then Arsenal did not have enough cutting edge in general.

I think I'm one of your biggest fans but I suspect you're on a wind up mission today, this is the third or fourth time I see you mention Nasri's bonus points in a game where I found him bad in the first half and only slightly above average in the second.

Not at all Garg, I am totally serious, I posted that he deserved BP's yes, he was the one making things happen, giving people the option of the pass, looking for the killer pass, I have hated having him in my team for the past 6 weeks, cause it is just so frustrating for him to always be in and around the box but never to make anything happen points wise, two of his "minor" contributions led to game winning chances, the first a flick which led to the RVP shot and save, and the second the off-load to Fabregas for the penalty.

No wind up mission here, honest.

I thought Nasri was excellent in the second half, couldnt believe how poor fabs was and im a big fan of his.

Ive come around to the idea they should sell him and invest. Last year he played am and was getting goals , this year he is slowing things down deep.
