A weekend light on Premier League fixtures (and Fantasy Football points in my case), finishes on a potential high as title contenders Arsenal welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium. An important game, both in terms of the destination of the Premier League title and for us Fantasy Managers, you can follow it throughout in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.

The team sheets are in and here is how the sides line-up…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Eboue, Koscielny, Djourou, Clichy, Diaby, Wilshere, Walcott, Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie

Liverpool XI: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Aurelio, Kuyt, Spearing, Lucas, Meireles, Suarez, Carroll

No shocks whatsoever for either team, meaning that Wojciech Szczesny returns from injury as expected/predicted.

Both Wojciech Szczesny and Johan Djourou return to the Arsenal lineup then, handing us Fantasy Managers possible budget options for the remainder of the season once again. Arsene Wenger also starts Theo Walcott on the flank, with Samir Nasri presumably lining up on the left against young John Flanagan in the Liverpool side. Andrey Arshavin has to make do with a bench role once again; he sits alongside Alex Song who returns from injury but watches on as Abou Diaby keeps his starting role. Liverpool are unchanged – Kenny Dalglish keeping faith with the same starting XI that demolished City last time out.

In addition to the Emriates clash, there’s also the FA Cup Semi-Final tie between Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City taking place at Wembley, the team news for which can be found right here courtesy of the ever-reliable SuperDunny. If that’s the game you are watching (and have endured the 90-minute television build-up), then please take a seat in our Dugout Discussion chatroom and inform the rest of us how it’s going.

    Arsenal's game plan:

Give the ball to Walcott and wait for him to lose it.

at least he makes losing it look good by just trying to whack it into the box regardless of the fact there might be two players in the way of his "cross", headless chicken stuff, he really has the ability to be better than that

With my rival having Pepe and Djourou I'm gonna stick a tenner on 0-0, hopefully that'll curse the game and provide us with a goal.

His other keeper is Stockdale (!) so he had no choice. Beating him by just 2 points, but I've the upper hand this week in terms of players left to play.

It's been quite close all season.

Get Nasri off, bring on Bendtner!

Seriously though, Arsenal get absolutely no one in the box. RVP drops deep all the time, Walcott stays out on the right and Nasri doesn't really do anything. It's no surprise they scored so few goals at home recently.

It is the formation, they all want to be the one making that killer pass, but with only RVP in the box, there isn't much to aim for, Eboue has been the most threatening almost. That being said, having watched Fabregas make those over the top passes in the Blackpool game too it is only a matter of time before one of them actually comes off. I should of taken Nasri OUT, he doesn't look like he will be getting any points, what a disappointing fall off in form for him.

Nasri is shocking, Robinson looks really quick and 4-2-3-1 is a seriously flawed formation with wingers who can't shoot and a forward who prefers to drop deep. Guess what, nobody will be in the box when the crosses come.

He has it in him but he gives the ball away all the time today, offers no penetration and doesn't get into the box enough. Possibly hampered by the fact that RVP isn't taking his responsibility as a centre forward, which is making runs towards the first post so the midfielders can go for the second.

    Half-time Who am I?

I was born in Pyrgos, Greece in 1977 and was an early product of the Panathinaikos youth system, and before being shipped out on loan to develop, was instrumental in the Athen’s club success in the late 90’s early 00’s

My dominant displays gained me a move to a top Serie A club for whom I played over 30 times in 2 years, being especially pivotal in my first season.

Squad competition saw me seek pastures new in Portugal where I played for a high profile Lisbon based club for two seasons scoring 3 goals in 45 starts.

I returned to Greece in 2007 where I still ply my trade.
