With the Members-only version wrapped up, all our attentions turn to our third and final Cup competition of the season. The FFS Cup IV is down to just 32 Fantasy Managers, and the upcoming Gameweek 34 sees them face-off to be cut in half once more. The fourth round results can be viewed right here, and the draw for the fifth is here. Here’s a brief round-up of all the notable fourth round action…

Reigning champ Gooner dave came off second best in his match-up with SammyC, losing 83 – 72. His amazing hot-streak had to come to an end, but he will still have high-hopes of a top 100 finish for the season. As for SammyC, he moves on to a showdown with Wonderboys.

In another big round four match-up Green_Libero defeated Locarno 85 – 80. Things don’t get any easier for the victor however, with a fifth round tie against the previous rounds top-scorer, hamyai_hamyai. He’s coming in of the back of a momentous 128 – 91 annihilation of gledy.

In total there were seven centurions this past gameweek. Along with hamyai_hamyai there was honkey (102 – 82 droghedans), daniel.mf (113 – 93 gatzi), Pocket Beatnik (108 – 86 hassyg), jamrockfc (109 – 60 Mansi), redsareback (101 – 97 Arsenalblood) and Pez (117 – 98 Up The Alex).

There were no drawn ties in the fourth round, with the closest any two Fantasy Managers got to each other being two points. Kevin84 scored 84 points (obviously), which saw the end of Leisure and his 82 points, and Morpheus beat top-ranked Off Regularly 89 – 87.

Kevin84 will now take on omar little in the next round, and Morpheus has been drawn with daniel.mf.

Commiserations to those leaving the competition at this stage, and good luck to the 32 Fantasy Managers hoping to end their season on a high.

    Good morning addicts,

    Team is

    BEGOVIC (Foster)
    Luiz, HUTH, Djourou (Carr, Smaling)
    Lamps, Adam, Nani, Young (Barton)
    Rvp, Bent, Hernandez

    Have 1 free transfer.

    Thinking Hernandez > Zamora.

or is it worth a hit to do Carr > A.Hughes?

Hernandez > Zamora looks good. Carr would be ok after this week so keep him. No Rooney or VDV.

I know, rivals dont have VDV, one has Rooney, but I cant afford him without an 8 point hit. Lampard has f**ked me up.

Lamps & Hernandez > Dempsey & Rooney is another option?

I'm surprised they missed the chance to give it to media whore darling David Beckham (I know, I know, but he did have a great season.) Keane should have won it.

That was the problem, wasn't it? too many United players had good seasons. Petit, Anelka and Bergkamp were excellent for us that year too.

Apparently that was a problem this season too. VDS, Vidic, Nani and Giggs(!) went some way to splitting the vote. I'd imagine Tevez and Nasri took some votes too.

If we had a vote for player of the year on here, I'd be interested to see who'd win.

    Begovic

    Huth, Luiz, Djorou

    Adam, Nani, Nasri, Lampard

    Van Persie, Sturridge, Drobga

    Hello ev'body!

I'm planning on spending 4pt and substituting Nasri For Dempsey (and captaining Dempsey to boot)
and trading R.Johnson for either Huth or Hangeland

So the question is: Huth or Hangeland ?
Hangeland has a chance of two cleanies and Huth has a chance of scoring 1 clean sheet and some offensive points and bonus points in the home clash with wolves (plus a point or two away)

I really don't know which to choose and with two or three disastrous decisions in recent weeks I don't trust myself to choose 🙂

        huth

ive learned the hard way, any of these defenders has a "chance" at a clean sheet. I recognize fulhams odds are a little better but you know what I mean. Last week was the latest installment of Fuzzy's Benched Cleanie Circus. Simpson gets 6. ðŸ™
so huths scoring threat is what made my decision.

I think nani will def play this week and be rested for the away champions league game. In my eyes, as a united fan, i'd much prefer to with the premiership this year than the champions league. Finally beat Liverpools record!! I'd love it!! (double would be even better) To me this game V Everton is a must must must win!!

Unless Fergie has a funny turn again and that means starting Nani on the bench who he brings on when United are 1-0 down and manage to turn it around in the 2nd half.

He's done that a few times this season.

Your a united fan, so in theory you know more than me, BUT I think Nani will be rested, He played vs Newcastle, and from what I see, not exactly well. So surely Fergie will drop him and Play Valencia/Park who did not play in the Newcastle game, actually, He'll rest Park for the Schalke game, (Big game player and all that), but Fergie always changes something in his team, so my betting this week, it will be Nani. Undifferential FTW!

similar to me below. Adam, Lampard and Nani are all causing me a lot of worry at the moment, they in shite form.

I reckon we should keep faith for another week, and avoid hits but lack of dempsey, etherington and VDV in there would worry me. Im in the same boat mate.

I have all 3, I am getting rid of Nani, don't see him playing Vs Everton myself, and then Chelsea/Arsenal games, not apetising, with Blackpool the only other real favourable fixture on the last day, by which Man U may have the title wrapped up, or not, but still. I would rather have Dempsey this week and then Silva/Yaya next week. He is a downgradable option. Lamps, a dead cert to start, @ home Vs West Ham, must keep. This week at least. But then I have Torres so he will go before Lamps anyways, and Adam (H) vs Newcastle. Has to stay.

Lots of people complaining about the PFA and FWA players of the year, yet no one's complaining about Raul M. winning the Fans' player of the year. I thought that was a really odd one.

Having said that, I think he's been better than Bale and Parker this season.

    Which leaves me with:
    HUTH BAIRD Luiz (R.Johnson Walker)
    ETHERINGTON Lampard Nani Adam VdV
    ZAMORA(c) RvP Odemwingie
    5.3m in bank

And a tough call for the bench player from the front 8 and captain.

    GW36 Zamora->Tevez (if fit)

    Who Am I?
I was born in Belgium in the mid sixties. I started my career at a well known Belgian club before an unsuccessful move to an Italian giant. I then moved to two different French clubs before returning to Italy with a smaller club. After two seasons there I moved to Ligue 1 then back to Belgium.
I am best known for my international appearances. Where I represented my country at four world cups.
