Also the potential benching of Nani meant I needed to take hits so Adam could start and still play 3-4-3 as I don't fancy any Brum defenders this week.

Hmm... it was a straight choice between Dempsey and VDV for me and I couldn't resist the doubler.
Nasri, Downing and Zigic out for Dempsey, Jarvis and Zamora(c) for a 4 point hit.
Cue VDV hat-trick... oh and I've benched Nani so he'll get bucket-loads of points too!
I had (c) on Zamora yesterday but thought I need a leftfield differential this week to push me further up in the standings. I was set on Dempsey but a few fans on the Fulham forum put me off a tad.

He's a short term move so logic is if I don't captain him, what was the point of bringing him in. Chelsea could hammer west ham though, although I suppose they scored 3 in midweek and lampard wasn't involved in any of them. Oh well in the hands of the fantasy gods now 🙂
I am not sure that Zamora will play 180 min. I see him rested and subbed earlier and that will mean Dempsey upfront!!! Like last year in GW 13th. He needed only 20 min upfront, scored a brace, got me century and gave me huge smile. And then there wasn't a way back. I became an addict of this game 🙂
He's had a fair few weeks back now and missed last week. He played 90 mins last time out against man utd as well. I agree he might not complete 180 but I don't think he'll be rested and as long as he's bagged a brace before he gets taken off I'm not worried! 🙂
Last time I've made 12.28 point hit was for Adam when I got him for the first time in my team for A.J. That worked well. A.J. was sent to the bench. 12 winning home games in a row for Utd, its time for Eve to make the league interesting.
BTW I think Nani will start. Fergie is little bit scared of Che. He made it clear in the post match interview after New. He didn't even mentioned Ars. They are crocked. But Carlo could bench Drogs and seal the deal for Fergie. I think Utd will win at the Emirates and that will be it. The record will be broken. Nice time for Fergie to retire.

Still don't think Arsenal can be written off when Man Ure have both them and Chelsea to play.

I've got zero DGWers too, think it's the first time. Just couldn't justify either the players I'd lose or being stuck with the players I'd get. Could be a make-or-break decision for my league rank.
I only made 1 free transfer this week. I'm really not digging it. All the dgws have easy home fixtures but then difficult away fixtures.

Exactly. Either play him today or transfer out. I've played him, could be his last hurrah for me coz I don't fancy having a mix of 4 man u/arsenal players for next week, but I don't see the sense in benching him.
