There may be just four gameweeks remaining on our low-fat Season Tickers but that’s more than enough calories to power another quick β€œFrisk” of the match-ups remaining.

Difficulty Ratings for all teams have been updated this morning, changing the complexion of the Members and Non-Members tickers slightly, so sort your columns and read on for our take on the teams offering Fantasy feast or famine for the season climax.

The Highs

Man City
Roberto Mancini’s men travel to Ewood tonight for a likely war of attrition with Blackburn. Following that however, the City squad looks ripe for Fantasy investment. Their double fixture in gameweek 36 appears tough (eve TOT) but, around this, City have home fixtures with West Ham (next) and Stoke that should certainly bring goals and could also return clean sheets.

Expect City’s assets to climb further in our Watchlist rankings tomorrow then, with Yaya Toure, Adam Johnson and David Silva all earning interest in midfield. Two rather more risky acquisitions – the explosive Mario Balotelli and the much-maligned Aleksandar Kolarov, cover the potential up front and at the back.

West Brom
The recent defeat to Chelsea was their only slip in the last 8 matches and that had more to do with the Londoner’s rise than any dip from Roy Hodgson’s side. Form is strong then and the Baggies should be be able to harness that over a final run of four matches (AVL wol EVE new) which really should enable them to continue to win friends and climb the table.

Two local derbies with Villa and at Wolves could be hard to call but, on a run of 4 goals in his last 5 league starts, Peter Odemwingie looks difficult to ignore right now. His captain Chris Brunt meanwhile, continues to pull the strings and could well bring his left-peg to bear in the remaining gameweeks.

Wolves
Mick McCarthy’s side are scrapping for every point and have the unenviable trip to the Britannia in midweek before they embark on their final quartet of games. Those four matches offer a superb opportunity for Wolves to play themselves out of trouble (bir WBA sun BLA) and will provide some comfort for those Fantasy Managers who invested in the likes of Jamie O’Hara and Matt Jarvis for gameweek 34.

Eleven goals in their last 8 matches is a statistic that indicates that Wolves should find the net over the remaining gameweeks. Fantasy Managers could do a lot worse than look to Molineux for answers in the budget bracket.

Bolton
Having banished the 5-0 FA Cup humiliation with the late win over Arsenal, Owen Coyle’s men have the opportunity to end the season on a high. They face a second gameweek fixture at Fulham in midweek – a tough prospect given the Cottagers home form and Bolton’s current trend of away results. Don’t let a slip there put you off Bolton’s assets however – trips to Blackburn and Blackpool with a home encounter with Sunderland in between, offer great opportunities for goals and even defensive returns. As last week’s Watchlist update indicated – Daniel Sturridge (if he shakes off his ankle injury) and Gary Cahill, look very attractive end of season prospects.

Also consider: Birmingham – Two strong hope matches could offer returns at both ends of the field. Sunderland – It’s getting tough to find targets for investment, but there’s little doubt that Saturday’s win should boost the Black Cats over what is a comfortable run-in.

The Lows

Arsenal
With the title challenge de-railed by the Reebok defeat on Sunday, Fantasy Managers now have a conundrum when it comes to the Emirates assets in their squad.

The Gunners certainly don’t have the fixtures to cushion their fall from grace – even the prospects of Robin Van Persie have to be assessed given that he will come up against United next, with the Stoke and Fulham home defences to follow. Only the home fixture with Villa appears to offer hope of strong attacking returns and, with Arsenal’s current form at the Emirates showing just 4 goals in the last 5 matches, you have to question whether that match-up will be exploited to the full.

Newcastle
Alan Pardew’s side have that tricky combination of two in-form sides away from home, with home clashes against teams battling for survival. Trips to Anfield (next) and Stamford Bridge really do promise little, while the home match-ups with Birmingham and West Brom will test the Magpies’ battling qualities.

Fantasy Managers may look to keep faith with Joey Barton and Kevin Nolan but, realistically, Newcastle will need to maximise returns for their two home games if the pair are present any further profits this season.

Fulham
Mark Hughes’ side are in a similar predicament – except their toughest opponents both fall in home matches. While Fulham’s form at the Cottage is strong, should they fail to offer returns against either Liverpool or Arsenal, profits look destined to be pretty scarce given their away form and trips to Sunderland and Fulham – both sides who will be fighting for their lives.

Those who invested in the likes of Bobby Zamora, Clint Dempsey and Brede Hangeland for the double gameweek 34 fixtures, may well need to assess an exit plan following the midweek clash with Bolton.

Also be wary of: Chelsea – form is very much on their side but investment in the charge on the title may well be tempered by two tough away days at Old Trafford and Goodison. Aston Villa – a local derby at the Hawthorns this weekend, followed by a home clash with Wigan looks ok, but Villa end the season at the Emirates and against a rejuvenated Liverpool.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Probably hoping for the impossible here but i'm currently on 42 points (4 point hit taken) with Begovic, Huth, O'Hara, Zamora(C) still to play again. My rival is currently on 54 with no DGW players to play. To win the GW head to head i'm going to need 17 points from my 4 players. Zamora captain gamble has surely dashed my chances.

      You're probably going to get 12 points alone from Huth and Begovic so it is very possible, that means you'd just need 6 or more points from O'Hara and Zamora(and Zamora is your captain). πŸ˜‰

        I don't think Stoke will keep a cleanie or win tomorrow night tbf.

        I've got Wolves double chance! I back them quite a lot so at least if they win I win money and if they lose and I lose the bets I'm still happy. πŸ™‚

    For anybody who was interested, the featured tip on the footytipster website was for the Rapid Bucharest game to be unders tomorrow. It is 8/11 on Bet365 which is pretty wank odds so I'm going to leave that but seeing as they are 1/4 favs I've just got money on them to win 1-0 or 2-0.

    Last three gameweeks 71, 92, 72 (so far with just Etherington left), why couldn't I do this more often?! 70 points off the top and considering mental moves for the next couple of weeks. (Suarez, Pavlyuchenko and Rodallega may be involved).

    Trying to think outside the box here to catch the guy at the top of my mini-league and the best I can come up with is this:

    Vidic > Lescott (this week)
    Foster > Hart (next week)

    Triple Man City defence (with Kolarov who I already have) for the double, pray for a couple of clean sheets, watch Balotelli and Silva do nothing and ride the Mancini negativity bus all the way to the top. Someone talk me out of it.

      I don't like thethought of 3 City defenders in a tough double GW where they could easily not keep even one cleanie.
      I think Yaya is outstanding value. I'll probably try to have Kolarov, Yaya and Silva for two weeks time. Post a link to your team.

    They might all rise but I doubt you'll have to do anything before Friday night. Silva and Yaya are still in negative NTIs but rising fast after tonight. Kolarov is rising and in positive NTIs but transfer activity probably won't really pick up until this weeks games are over I guess.

    Trying to decide which 3 Man City players to get, as I think many people here are. I definitely want Silva and thinking of doing Nani -> him this week. Already have Kolarov. Option is whether to get Yaya or double up on defense with Hart/ Lescott.

    I usually dont like doubling up on defenders but the reason I am leaning towards it is that my defense is quite weak (Coleman Rafael Walker Kolarov Luiz) and I want to get VDV in as well so will then need to find 3 mids to get rid off (for VDV Silva Yaya).

    Opinions?

    You could sell
    Nani -> Silva
    Rafael -> Lescott
    Malouda -> VdV
    That's the best way of strengthing your defence and getting the 3 City + VdV that I can see. You still have the problem of Welbeck who is out for the season I think.
    You may as well do the first two transfers this week as City have a decent game and leave the Malouda -> VdV till next week as Chelsea are home to Spurs this week.

      Thing is I'd rather have Malouda than Lampard to cover Chelsea's attacking points. Malouda I feel is in better form and getting into far more attacking positions. Will also free up funds. But then the transfers do not work out as well. And the Welbeck issue. Decisions, decisions

    On who will play up front for Sunderland, I don't know. Maybe Sulley Muntari? Or some kid? This Ryan Noble guy (£4.5m) has a couple of sub appearances. They are in dire form and with both recognised forwards out, I wouldn't fancy them.

    Actually karan316 you could go
    Lamps -> VdV
    Welbeck -> Balotelli
    Rafael -> Lescott
    Which solves your striker issue. If you consider Balotelli a solution! Risky one that. And if my maths is right, that series of moves can't afford any prices changes. Of course you could get Zabaleta instead of Lescott or Yaya instead of Silva if that arises.

    Bojan, I think I'd go with your 1st option but it's pretty close either way. I just think playing a defence of Coleman/Luiz/Johnson + having Silva is slightly better than Luiz/Johnson/Kolarov + Fab for this week coming.

          Well, not quite. At his price he should be playing every game at home. With that being said two things come up:

          1. If he scores well, VDV will not. (Unless Terry notches a goal)

    GW36 is going to be strange. Man City & Spurs of course have doubles. But beyond that, Arsenal Chelsea Man Utd & Liverpool dont really have great fixtures. Some of the DGWers left over from GW34 (Fulham & Stoke) also tough fixtures. I was going through my team planning my transfers and found it difficult to field an XI I'd actually be happy with.

    Jinswick, I would certainly wait until Foster is confirmed as it would suck to have no keeper. I guess if he's out, you could go Foster -> Hart or if he's fit you could do Etherington to Silva, no?
    Capt M, I'd personally play Foster ahead of Robinson and Coleman ahead of Huth.
    Brum are better at home than Blackburn are and I think Bolton are more likely to score than Wolves are. Also Coleman is slightly more likely to keep a clean sheet than Huth imo and as likely to score and more likely to assist as he's playing in midfield. Also if he's taken off after 60 mins (74 mins last week) he's got more chance of that cleanie.
    I also wouldn't bother with that double. Dempsey is fine.

      Yep, if Foster out then ill do Foster -> Hart
      Otherwise, i'd rather have Ethers away at b'pool than Fabs away at Utd. Leaves a lot of money in the bank I guess. Ethers will most likely be going in GW36.

            im almsot set on doing fabs>silva this week...as much as it hurts me to take him out. He could have had a hat full v bolton with a bit of luck but now since our season is over yet again...

              Im a gooner too, but I think we have a lot of pride to play for given our collapse. If you had enough in the bank to do Ethers -> Silva instead of Fabs -> Silva, which would you choose?

                your playing with my heart now jinswick πŸ˜†

                honestly..i think fabs is playing well and is on decent form id keep him..iam thinking about nani>silva instead and keeping fabs but that might be silly.

                im protecting a lead of about 25 points (might be more after this week) and rival has nani...

                strangely, fabs and rvp have turned around a 60 point trail into 30 point lead for me since end of jan...
                would swap it all for us to be top of the table πŸ™

                  Haha, and don't forget the small amount of anguish you won't want to feel if you ditch Fabs and he rips Utd apart... πŸ˜‰

                  What's your squad? Maybe you can keep Fabs and Nani and improve elsewhere?

      Nope... reckon Suarez and Silva are best options. Adam relies too much on set pieces imo.

    I currently have it on Drogba. Of course I haven't bought Silva/Yaya or Silva/Kolarov or Yaya/Kolarov or whatever double it is I'm going to do. I might go Silva.

        Huge risk I think. Chelsea dont have a terribly easy fixture and there are many people capable of scoring for them - Lamps, Malouda, Drogba, Torres. At the moment, Silva is involved in almost everything City do. And Suarez Liverpool, maybe to a bit of a lesser extent. They both have better fixtures too.

          i agree, juts listing out possible options cause not that many great fixtures.
          You say they have a tough one but from a goal scoring point of view its not cause spurs cant defend to save their life...

      I think they've said he'll need to play in the match against Stoke on May 17th to have a chance for FA Cup final. So that's what they are aiming for.
