Double gameweek 36 comes to an end tonight, with a potentially decisive game in the chase for that all-important fourth spot. Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur knowing that a win will see them qualify for the Champion’s League for the first time. For Spurs only a win will do if they hope to mount a realistic challenge in the closing league fixtures.

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Milner, De Jong, Toure Yaya, Adam Johnson, Silva, Dzeko

Spurs XI: Cudicini, Corluka, Dawson, Gallas, Rose, Lennon, Palacios, Sandro, Modric, Van der Vaart, Crouch

The home side drop Fantasy favourite Aleksandar Kolarov, who takes his place on the bench alongside Mario Balotelli and the returning Carlos Tevez. Filling that left-back slot is Pablo Zabaleta, meaning that there’s a place in the side for Micah Richards.

There’s also changes aplenty for the visitors, as recently calamitous ‘keeper Heurelho Gomes is left out, with a “back injury” being cited as the reason. Charlie Adam is the reason Gareth Bale misses out, opening a space for Wilson Palacios in a formation-altered Spurs side, which promotes the hugely popular Rafael van der Vaart up behind Peter Crouch.

    I just had to post this before my rank changes tonight, I have two teams (obviously my main one & one i just arse around with) both teams despite having different players have 48 at the minute and both lie on exactly the same place for the month of may!

      seriously mate, as I said yesterday. You have 2 teams that got the same score in 1 gameweek. It's really not an amazing coincidence. Thousands upon thousands of teams end up on equal scores every gameweek. Sorry to be a grinch 😛

        Aren't they the same rank for May because there has only been 1 gameweek for May and teams with the same number of gameweek points are given the same rank (for example, look at the May leaders table which has 5 people on 90 points and all ranked 3rd for May).

        Unless the amazing coincedence you was refering to was that both your teams got 48, in which ignore the above of my comment.

                tbh a Goodwillie brace will probably do more harm than good for United in the long run. Every goal he scores just makes it more likely one of the Old Firm will buy him, before preceding to let one of Scotland's best young talents stagnate on their bench in preference of some second rate foreigner.

                  I agree. although i think goodwillie has the ability to suceed in either of the old firm. I hate seeing scottish talent being wasted on a bench, i am a member of the tartan army and scotland comes before rangers but only slightly so i hate seeing scottish talent wasted.
