Double gameweek 36 comes to an end tonight, with a potentially decisive game in the chase for that all-important fourth spot. Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur knowing that a win will see them qualify for the Champion’s League for the first time. For Spurs only a win will do if they hope to mount a realistic challenge in the closing league fixtures.

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Milner, De Jong, Toure Yaya, Adam Johnson, Silva, Dzeko

Spurs XI: Cudicini, Corluka, Dawson, Gallas, Rose, Lennon, Palacios, Sandro, Modric, Van der Vaart, Crouch

The home side drop Fantasy favourite Aleksandar Kolarov, who takes his place on the bench alongside Mario Balotelli and the returning Carlos Tevez. Filling that left-back slot is Pablo Zabaleta, meaning that there’s a place in the side for Micah Richards.

There’s also changes aplenty for the visitors, as recently calamitous ‘keeper Heurelho Gomes is left out, with a “back injury” being cited as the reason. Charlie Adam is the reason Gareth Bale misses out, opening a space for Wilson Palacios in a formation-altered Spurs side, which promotes the hugely popular Rafael van der Vaart up behind Peter Crouch.

      Pure genius...so good to have it back for the summer evenings. Sugar seemed on form already. Agree though - doesn't appear to have the characters of last series. Early days though.

        lol - yeah her voice was terrible but she did have some good ideas. Lack of fitties this year, girl team captain was comfortably the best looking.

            The guy who ran the van like a hot dog vender would have been chucked out if he'd of been brought in IMO.

            I reckon Edward would have done well if he'd of been in a while, he should never have put himself up as captain, far too nervous

            To be honest overall the tips were pretty good and a lot of people profited from them, so I'm sure one of them will become a member for just £5 a month.

                Haha, I started to become a bit of an addict and it probably wasn't long until I lost quite a bit then bottle trying to win it all back so I quit whilst I'm ahead basically.

                Back to just betting weekly on the midweek/weekend games in the Football League I think, much more enjoyable for me tbf. 🙂

                  I'll probably do the same, took an awful hammering this weekend. Lost €13, doesn't seem like a lot but I've only ever invested 40 quid so that's almost a third.

          Of course you're not right. It's the last game of the season, players won't get rested, you may see the odd younger or fringe player introduced mid way through the second half but there are still 3 points to play for. Plus nobody wants to lose the last game of the season. VDV will play.

    What do we think to the chances of Malouda being dropped for Newcastle?

    Tempted to go with Maxi just because I've got that 'surely he can't continue scoring like this' feeling with him. Had it with Kuyt and Odem from the start and finally folded and got them in last GW, and I don't want to miss out on him too.

        Me too. I am going for Silva, although I do not have Yaya. I can see a below par performance after the Cup Final, whichever way it goes. There is also the chance, albeit modest, of him being rested.

        Nzog, on the other hand, could tear it up against West Ham.

        This would be for a hit, having already brought in Adam to cover my nearest rival.
