Hearts are aflutter for the last time this season. No, Andy Reid and Charlie Adam aren’t racing to their favourite Blackpool based pie emporium – we’ve got our last Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline looming large before the most super of “Super” Sunday’s kicks off. Not only is Premier League season coming to a close but so do all of our mini-leagues and Fantasy hopes a dreams with them for another year.

Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov look set to go head to head in the race for a shoe made out of gold, two of five sides will be the unfortunate recipients of relegation after the next 90 minutes of action and all sorts of injury, rest and rotation look likely to rear their ugly head.

Subsequently there will be plenty of questions raised in the last hour before deadline on how Fantasy Managers can capitalise on these last ten games of the season as they try to make one last push for that mini-league title. The Surgery opens on a Sunday especially for this most final of final gameweeks.

Mark and Granville are no doubt fretting over their choices with just 7 slender points separating their rivalry. The sparring between myself and Big Dunc looks more cut and dry – I’m clearly going to win.

Oh, don’t forget to enter our “Last Chance Saloon” league [details enclosed] before deadline, if you fancy.

    I’m contemplating Kuyt in for VDV for a 4 point hit. My other options were Nani or Anderson but I couldn’t decide on either!

    Any advice would be much appreciated!

    im 4 points clear of my rival...

    is it worth getting tevez in for a hit? He would effectively replace Yaya/Young!

    My rival has a similar team & it looks like the only major difference is he has Sturridge to my Yaya Toure atm.

    My worry is that VDV doesnt play I dont have much backup on the bench.

            I think Silva will start, there's been no news on his "injury" so I take that as a good thing... N'Zog on the other hand might be worth a hit, but I might be biased on that subject too 😀

    Think I'm gonna go Modric over Nani. Although Nani will probably play, not worth the risk when I'm already doing 12 point hit. Got Berbatov for Utd coverage, and Modric will cover the Spurs game.

    No late word that VDV is in fact playing right?!

    Currently 8 points behind in my mini league and he has taken a 4 point hit so now 4 points. Already made one transfer is it worth taking a 4 point hit to transfer a defender in? My defence is Dawson, Luiz, Djourou, Walker and Coleman.

    Just a hunch but seeing as ferguson hates his "noisy neighbours" so much I'm sure he'll do anything to stop Tevez getting the golden boot, therefore I think Nani will lay off berba, with Owen on the bench. Don't need any goal poachers stealing berbas goals now!!
