Yes folks, it’s the day (night) we’ve all been waiting for. It’s here. Finally.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has opened its doors for season 2011/12.

After a few false starts last week, with the new look needing one or two final tweaks, everything is now in order and we can begin to pick our squads ahead of the big kick-off on the 13th of next month.

So waste no more time and head on over to the Premier League official site to begin picking your fifteen.

We’ll have a further round-up of some of the prices in a little while but in the meantime, put off your bedtime for just a while. FPL is back.

Oh, and in case you are all wondering: Aleksander Kolarov is priced at 6.5. Don’t all rush at once, now.

      Yeah, mainly just didn't like the midfield, can't go wrong with Vidic, Kompany's value will depend on how the bps turn out. Gibbs is ok currently I guess .. might steal that one from you

On initial reflection, the prices are good. Not a case of just throwing in the big names and bobs your uncle, players such as midfielders in 5.5 - 6.5 bracket are gonna be big in terms of getting the right ones at the right time. Still managed to make a team with 2 big / fair expensive players in def, mid and up top.
