Yes folks, it’s the day (night) we’ve all been waiting for. It’s here. Finally.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has opened its doors for season 2011/12.

After a few false starts last week, with the new look needing one or two final tweaks, everything is now in order and we can begin to pick our squads ahead of the big kick-off on the 13th of next month.

So waste no more time and head on over to the Premier League official site to begin picking your fifteen.

We’ll have a further round-up of some of the prices in a little while but in the meantime, put off your bedtime for just a while. FPL is back.

Oh, and in case you are all wondering: Aleksander Kolarov is priced at 6.5. Don’t all rush at once, now.

          swansea and norwich.

          They rotate quite well early on and are both 4m.

          Both will make plenty of saves too.

          Villa were poor last season and have an even worse team this year. Given is a bad bandwagon.

    The new assist rule change means that a pass made inside the area can rebound millions of times off opposing players (in the box) and then be tapped in by a team-mate and still be given. Or am i wrong?

      If it's in the area.

      Touches outside the box negate the assist.

      Not a bad way of working it as far as I'm concerned.

    Don't know how much it's been talked about cause i cba to go through all the comments; but i reckon this new BP system is going to create some real favorites and the opposite.

    Mainly i was thinking Lampard could suffer from it - he doesn't seem like the sort of player that will be in the top 3 for the stats. Alternativley i can't ever imagine Fabregas (should he stay) ever being out of the top 3 players stats wise.

    I can see the FantasyFootballScout private league by default in my profile.
    Is it a different one from the one with the code 490-626 that you gave in the article?
    I cannot enroll in the 490-626 one so I'd presume I'm in there already as is everybody else? But why would you give it in the article then?

    Downsides:

    - Bonii the morning after. I used to (maybe a bit bizarrely) enjoy waiting for the bonii to come in after the last game of the day.
    - Prices do seem very, very high.
    - We need an iPhone app.
