Tonight we’re running our second phase of beta testing on the new site.

Members who signed up before 6pm this evening can now get access to the beta test via this link. Use your existing login details to get access.

As before, there is a welcome article to greet you detailing what is new in this phase. For those who did not take part in the first test, there’s also a link to the original beta test welcome article with full details on the new features available.

Once again this test will run for a limited period. Please leave your feedback on the beta test site comment thread, not on this article.

Just to stress – this is a test of a new site that will be available to all – not just for members.

      Too much money in defence not enough in midfield. You've really no decent captain options in there try and get at least one of Rooney, RVP, or Lamps

      I like your team, but Bale isn't doing it for me - there are plenty of other choices out there.
      Is Rafael the nailed on starter? Fabio might steal a couple of games off him....
      Wigan have great fixtures, not sure I would use 3 of them! Risky!

      kompany is a better choice than luiz
      yaya better choice than bale, nzogbia is as well.
      i liked sessegnon at first as well, but after doing research on him i dislike him a lot.

        I would withhold judgment on him, he may be a bonanza in the new system, he has reign to track-back or post. He will see a lot of the ball. After Liverpool it's on for me.

      I think rafael will nail down spot this season, kelly at liverpool is another risky / worthwhile option. Nzogbia wont get the points he got last year, and you cant rely on United midfielders with rotation.

      I wouldnt have Nani, too much of a rotation risk. For an extra 0.5 you could get Malouda to cover Chelsea.Looks good overall, I'd definitely have O'Hara over Jarvis. Rafael could rotated too.

      not sure if rafa will be first choice or fabio. Monitor jarvis injury, if barton's not on set pieces i dont fancy him. Nani's a big rotation risk. Imo sess or duff are better/safer picks than taraabt. Rest looks good.

    am i right in thinking there's no way torres and drogba will be starting together in the 4-3-3? Badly want the drog but rotation seems likely. Surely fatty cant be the only guaranteed starter from the chelsea attack 🙁

      A bit risky having Aguero from the start, he will be lethal when he settles in though. Downgrade a defender and upgrade Ferguson. I'd get Taarabt in there too

      Top defenders had 178 154 and 150

      Top Midfielders had 198 192 186

      Top Forwards had 185 176 176...

          Which is why i think you don't need the 10.0 mids to do well. Nani is gonna be rotated , Adam wont be half as good as last year , malouda could do well , wouldn't be suprised to see him being rotated though. The only one guaranteed of starting is VDV and he's on set pieces and penalties which is why he's the only on im considering.

      Ive got Lamps, Rooney and RVP with cheap players around them. I think its a decent tactic. Theres lots of value in the 6 - 6.5 mids this year.

        Ferguson (4.0 midfielder) is just there coz he is the only 4.0 midfielder, but the rest of the team should be nailed on starters. Too big of a risk to choose basically only 12 outfield players?

        Also, worth to downgrade Belt to Zamora to free up funds because of N Zogbia cover?

          Anyways, I`m a Spurs fan, and I would start Silva instead of VDV just like you are doing. Then re-evaluate after Spurs first games.

          Was thinking about starting Drogba myself, but doubt AVB will start both Torres and Drogba, so it`s too much of a risk imo.

      Defence and midfield is good apart from Dyer he wont do much. Id get someone other than Drogba , he's not nailed on to start and youve already got malouda. Get Bramble instead of O Shea to save you 0.5

      Yeah Lamps is a must for me at least early on. VDV is the only other midfielder who is capable of scoring 15+ goals. Apart from Fabregas but it looks like he's on his way out

      I'll bet that Chelsea earn 3 penalties in their first 6 games, given the fixtures and their attack. Lampard is expensive but I think safe to get a few decent returns at the outset.

      You are gambling that Sinclair, Taarabt and Sessegnon will all come good in midfield with no significant EPL track record. Why not O'Hara or Murphy or even Larsson ? There are a fair few midfielders in that price range who have proved themselves. Drogba/Torres ? Torres probably starts the season but showed nothing in half a year with Chelsea. For that money - why not a proven commodity like Bent or someone who had a good start in the prem - Suarez ?

    GK, Given, Kenny, DEF, A.Cole, Kompany, Enrique(if he goes pool), Taylor(Swa), Berra(Or Bramble), MID, Hoolihan, Albrighton, Murphy, Lampard, Tarabat, FWD, Rooney, Graham, Carrol(or Bent). –

    You might wonder why Swansea and Wolves defender – well they have favourable home games when the big teams have tough away games( I could also bring a Sunderland defender in for Berra as it’s the same scenario). Same for Graham up front, he rotates well with my midfield. Sometimes I plan on playing 1-3-4-3, other times 1-3-5-2

      Beckham has been brilliant! His days were before I properly started watching football, so only caught him in the odd CL match. Could do worse than bringing him back as a CM based on this performance imo!

        I'd be in the same boat as yourself Soup but i agree, if we get no one else we could do worse than bringing him back on a season long loan or something, even for half the season(when the MLS is over).

        Would bring something else to the midfield, which is very average. His passing has been terrific.

          Remember how well Larsson did on his loan spell at Utd, was the same age as Becks is now.
