Tonight we’re running our second phase of beta testing on the new site.

Members who signed up before 6pm this evening can now get access to the beta test via this link. Use your existing login details to get access.

As before, there is a welcome article to greet you detailing what is new in this phase. For those who did not take part in the first test, there’s also a link to the original beta test welcome article with full details on the new features available.

Once again this test will run for a limited period. Please leave your feedback on the beta test site comment thread, not on this article.

Just to stress – this is a test of a new site that will be available to all – not just for members.

Many thanks to those who take part in this latest test.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

J.S.Park, what a quality player. Very Underrated, have always said it but he has even improved even more the last few years.

Utd have serious options on the wing this season.

Not too bad Sas, enjoying watching the football again, even if it is only pre-season, its good to have it back + the games have been very entertaining i thought so far, the Utd ones anyway. will be a few more goals in the 2nd half for sure!

Team's coming along well, i'm very happy with it so far! 🙂 and you?

          Good stuff!

Team here is okay. Still have 5 or so places "up for grabs" as they say, depending on transfers, new manager preferences etc etc, but I'm fairly happy with the core 🙂

I'm not taking as many risks either, which is good as they usually bite me in the arse!

Ok, think I have my team as I want it so time to RMT if you would be so kind, after much deliberation have gone with Baines so that I have potentially high point scorers in every position, if Aguero comes in then might change RVP

    Given (Ruddy)

    Baines - Kompany - A Cole
    Taraabt - Moses - Silva - VdV
    Rodallega - RVP / Aguero - Zamora

Bench - Ruddy, Simpson, Orr, Ferguson

Week 2 have 1m left over to do Silva to Malouda, Moses to Sinclair or Zamora to Gyan

    Any comments?

Is he well worth it? Hes not a natural goal scorer/poacher type player like the Bents of this world. Unfortunately wonder goals give exactly the same amount of points as a tap in and Im not 100% he'll be grabbing that many tap ins this season.

Anderson is looking bright this preseason, bagged a nice goal and looks to be a regular fixture in the team unless Ferguson somehow finds "value" in the market. At Porto he played in a much more advanced role and if paired with Carrick as expected he should see greater freedom. Maybe one to watch this season.

Well its a running joke at United but he did show signs at the end of the last season that he was finding his shooting boots. I just pray we bring in a central midfielder of quality this summer. Are you backing Tony V this season or has Young put the final nail in the rotation risk coffin for you?

He did score a couple last season so perhaps your right, i have my doubts though, and i can still see rotation in the center too with Giggs so could be risky enough? He was actually one of the first names in my team, mainly due to price but i shipped him out, will be so much rotation on the wings it's not even right. Nani/Young/Valencia/Park.. why wouldn't you rotate.. i'm staying clear anyway.

Its something that United have had to deal with for years - talented youngsters who just cant make it at the club despite a wealth of talent and the club with such a strong youth policy. Multi-CL winner Pique and £35mill rated Rossi being points in proof.

Defense is far too expensive. It hurts your midfield. Choose two of Kompany, Baines, Luiz and Samba, and get cheapies to fill the rest.

      Captaincy is an issue.

3 top defenders is still too many imo. There are really only 2 good defense strategies and they are:

          Big, Rotate x4
          Big x2, Rotate x3

Get 2 top defenders and rotate the rest.

Too much in bench players will hurt you over the season as well. You don't want a lot of money sitting on the sidelines. Moses is a good shout if you still want potential points, or else, just go for a playing 4.5 mid.
