The second instalment in our series of Members articles looking at Fantasy consistency sees defenders come under the microscope. Aiming to highlight those players who week-in, week-out offer solid returns, we’ve taken a larger sample size than the previous Goalkeepers article and analysed the top twelve in terms of points per game in 2010/11.

Although there are four Chelsea players here -in addition to two from Man City – the Blues defenders most definitely vary in average returns and consistency. Who’d have thought, after all, that Ashley Cole was the least reliable Fantasy pick of our featured quartet last season?

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Just tweaked my Sun Dream team and have the following:-

    Schwarzer
    Warnock, Cole, Terry, Young
    Malouda, Murphy, Silva
    Bent, Johnson, Rooney

    Thinking of swapping the following:-

    Sessegnon for Murphy
    Moses for Johnson

Please tell me which team would be best!!!!

        Murphy better this week probably
You can't swop Johnson for Moses but if it was possible I'd do it.

Sun Dream so I can switch to 4-4-2. Moses is getting rave reviews. Not sure about Murphy. Could downgrade Terry to Kompany/Ivanovic and get N'Zog or Downing in.

Although I'm usually a follower of the Media, I must admit, publicising this 24/7 is whats making it just as bad, I am sorry, but in say the early 1900's (Ok I know its not), no-one would know about this, because the lack of Media coverage, Ok, it would be in the nationals the next day (were they even around?) But it is ridiculous, people have seen it going in on tottenham, and started it elsewhere, even though half of them don't even know what it is all about.

The government are stupid, just tell the Media to f*ck off, or we are arresting you, seriously, letting little runts get away with this, if this was greece or spain, the police would of cracked down on it, and put a little bit of their own violence in and alright, a few little sh*ts would be seriously injured, but quite honestly they shouldn't be there, which they have the right to do seeing as they are getting stuff thrown at them like a javelin pitch. Also, as soon as the police have been advancing, the pussies have been running off! Just like that! Just start grabbing them one by one, or like they do in France, get little squads, identify the trouble makers, and arrest them, or even just randoms. they will soon run off like little babies like the idiots they are.

And the chavs should just go away, ARGH, pees me off so much, burning something just literally for the sake of it like some stupid pyromaniac, someones business they have worked hard to build up, peoples livelihoods. ARGH! Rant over.

So, does anyone think this will affect saturdays football? Mainly FPL, Tottenham? West Brom? If its spreading to brum, surely it won't affect West London (Fulham and QPR?)

If thats the case, an early DGW would be immense. Genuinely immense.

What type of nation would we become if the media stopped reporting on such events due to fear of the outcome? These riots cannot be blamed on the free press.

What kind of nation would we BECOME?

Seriously, we are already embarrassing enough as it is, we are scared off the fact that videos will get out, of police beating the crap out of someone, and I guarantee in a couple of months there will be a policeman that has defended himself, or got rid of a looter, been caught by a TV camera, and is now being prosecuted, what can they do? Get rid of the Media, and the police can do whatever they like, really. I'm not saying to the same extreme, but North Korea do it, and everyone is a goody two shoes. Just for half an hour, this would soon stop.

I am no fascist, don't get me wrong, re-reading that I understand, I think violence is wrong, and people who use it rather than words are just idiotic people.

But in this case, our police are being allowed, to be made a mockery off, I see it myself all the time, people taking the pee, just arrest them, give them a night in a cell and then they won't do it again, just make a few people an example off, and the police will get more respect.

North Korea as a country is wrong, but just the way they block out the Media, for half an hour, then people will realise that the police aren't an easy task, there not just men in suits who don't do anything, just chase after them! Stop them and in numbers, not all this passive walking crap.

Moo, I'm really annoyed atm clearly, so may not be making sense.

The reasons are that the government are spending too much on pensions, put it up to 75 for gods sake, by the time you get there, you could stop working and live off your mortgage, way too much money is going on pensions.

Spend it where it counts, in getting little runts out of council estates and somewhere proper, tell the parents they need to sort it out or else. Stronger police force that is somewhat believable. I'm not being funny, but a police car drove straight past me and a group of my mates, i was carrying a crate of 20, surely they should pull over and convisgate it off me? My mates also had drink. I am no rebel, but still, its stupid.

People are acting like this because they are low life scum.

            Some figures.

            £57.6 billion pounds on pensions.

Compared to just £35.9 Billion on the entire ministry of defence.

Taken from a guardian article I have printed, from economics.

Sorry Greg, its not the peoples fault that there pension money was unwisely invested by the government.

When you start working, you will have to pay on average between 4 and 10% of your monthly salary towards your pension, your employer will also contribute and it should make money in interest (and clever investment).

We pay a good deal of money to ex-fireman, policeman, teachers etc but they deserve it and most of the money they are getting will have been earnt by them anyway.

People need to get involved. They need to stop expecting everything for nothing and realise involvement and effort, not apathy and moaning/taking what you think is "owed" to you, is how the world works. That isnt just "dole scroungers" etc, its is a lot of people who think they are owed low taxes and great services.

Educate people how they can become involved and make a difference. Challenge traditional power structures and bases, be pro-active.

Huth played right-back in the last friendly and Woodgate started at centre-half.

Possibly Wilkinson/Huth/Shawcross/Wilson. Woodgate to rotate with either of the centre-halves?

    Given, Ruddy
    Kompany, Smalling, Luiz (Enrique, Simpson)
Moses, Taarabt, Nani, Y Toure (Sinclair)
    Torres, Suaraz, Saha

Any one know of any good goalkeeper combinations i.e. home/away rotation?

Also i have gone with Torres, as he has to start for £50m, potentially transferring to RVP in GW4.

Finally, AV fixtures for defenders look good ful BLA WOL eve NEW qpr , must be a few clean sheets in that

Similar thoughts to that of lunatics like Anders Behring Brevik. These w@nkers always make out its 'for the people' but their main aim is to grab power or at least a flash of self importance. Tosspots.
