It's total madness that connections to the FPL website don't auto expire after 15 minutes or so, that's just some basic sh!t right there!! I'm a performance tester by trade and even if they have no money there's loads of free tools to test website capacity - lazy from FPL and no excuse.

So annoyed with people like Dr.Rog saying everyone else is stupid for trying to make tweaks and changes last minute...first of all, i wouldn't call 15 hours ago last minute, second, there are changes and injuries all the time and frankly you're an idiot if you set up your team 4 days ago without keeping check of who in your team is on yellow or red. I was happy with my team, i just know that some will be unlikely to play now, plus you really want to leave your captain selection till late on because of injury news coming in about that player or about players on their team or on the oppositions team. Thirdly, you can't say that the FPL aren't to blame, putting in higher resolution graphics which are undoubtedly linked with the traffic. What the hell was that all about? "Yeah I play FPL because i just love those smooth shirts", NO! Fourth, FPL should have crash tested the site. It really isn't fair on those people who have been trying to get on since last night, especially as there are a lot of people saying they left themselves logged on since yesterday..followed by a cheeky "haha". Whatever happened to them logging you off for inactivity!?!?!? They've f*$("d up, royally.

I have to say - I'm really down. Both about the site being down, and also much of the quite snide stuff on this site. I believe everyone has a right to complain, especially when things go so thoroughly wrong ... 🙁

The trouble with people generalising is that it assumes a certain position is predominant. There are all sorts of people who have all sorts of different circumstances and come at the game from different perspectives. There should be no "this approach is the right one, and if you didn't take it then you're at fault and have no-one but yourself to blame". The simple fact is that FPL has promised something it has been unable to deliver. We can debate all day long about it but it will do not one bit of good. FPL will surely realise that the length of time the game has been unavailable to the majority of people requires them to do something. We just have to wait and see what it is. Meanwhile, if your enjoyment has taken a real dent then you will have tonnes of empathy; but remain positive!

A mate did not get into the mini league because of the problems. Will it be possible for him to join before the next gw, with the points he got this gameweek? Or will he start with a gamweek less then the rest?
