Let’s not dilly-dally shall we. The Scout chatroom has opened for the dawn of a new Fantasy Football season with the The Saturday Surgery here for the last-gasp panic.

There will undoubtedly be even more panic than normal on what is arguably the busiest, and most fraught, period of the whole season.

We’ve opened three rooms in anticipation of a potential abundance of users, we encourage you to spread about and help those as they help you with your last minute quandary.

The first Saturday Surgery of the season is open.

      - implement a new system =, without parallell running both in case the new one failed

        very gutted, if a whole evening and a morning isn't enough to set a team up then what the f*ck is happening? i see no point in tweaking a team for a month when players are moving, people get injured, teams change... i left it this late the last 2 seasons with no issues

        and entering one from next week means i will be always chasing, especially in my work league which is the one i care about

    Utter shambles by FPL admin team! Only silver cloud possibly being less traffic for the remainder of the season as a lot of people, particularly the casual manager, will have given up trying to enter a team and abandon the FPL.

    The ramifications of today will echo throughout the entire season as those who managed to set up their teams will undoubtedly have an unfair points advantage which others may struggle to overturn. Total farce!

    The only possible remedy to this situation that I can come up with is for the administrators of private leagues to cancel their league and restart them with scoring commencing from GW2 onwards.

      I'm not saying it's not shit, but an unfair advantage is harsh. People have had 4 weeks to get their teams ready....

                Most people have read you the first time. Why you seemed it was necessary to spout the same smugness over and over again is beyond me other than to get some kick out of it. My point is what you are saying is not clever or helpful.

                We KNOW you are happy that you have been able to log in.
                We KNOW you think everyone should not leave it for the last 30 minutes to make last minute changes.

                Yes it is just a game. Yes it is not the end of the world. But clearly you think it is a good thing that noone can log in for some reason? That to me just makes the game pointless.

            I've been playing FFL for years and part of the reason why i prefer it to others is that you can tinker with the teams at any time right up to the deadline.

            Your point about having it done way before hand doesn't hold up. Why have deadline at all then???

            I have just signed up to post this because you are really getting on my nerves with your posts. Saturday is a ritual for me and my friends to message each other before deadline, stating any injury news, ideas on captain etc....

            I have never had a problem tinkering up until the deadline for all the years playing FF and this year is going to be a farce as there will be loads of people who haven't managed to finalise their teams or captain at the last minute, which im afraid to tell you as you must be a novice, will be a large percentage of people who play this game.

            Why dont you sling your hook you pathetic excuse for a football fan. I'll be a week behind you but bet you'll still be languishing below me at the bottom of the pile.... Just like you are in society!!
