Let’s not dilly-dally shall we. The Scout chatroom has opened for the dawn of a new Fantasy Football season with the The Saturday Surgery here for the last-gasp panic.

There will undoubtedly be even more panic than normal on what is arguably the busiest, and most fraught, period of the whole season.

We’ve opened three rooms in anticipation of a potential abundance of users, we encourage you to spread about and help those as they help you with your last minute quandary.

The first Saturday Surgery of the season is open.

    I honestly thought they would fix the problem over the night... But no. Going f***ing crazy here, how could this be possible? If they haven't fixed it now, it won't be fixed before gw 1 starts. Imagine if the page suddenly came up, and 2 mil. people would do 3 or more transfers each in 30 min.. Haha, this is so weak

      Its simply being overloaded. Im not sure that can be fixed, except by less people trying to get on, which is why it was 'fixed' earlier.

      Seems the new design - farming off login/logout to a separate server users.premierleague.com - hasn't really paid off... The main site seems to be working fine but no-one can get their login cookie! Doh

      The worst thing about all this is that they have an error message suggesting it's a password error.

      Try replacing this with something like.....

      'we Fu**ed up royally, forgot to stress test the site correctly and wish to be called giant NOOBS for the rest of the season'.....or similar

      I would really appreciate some help. I realise that a lot of people cannot log on to the website at the moment but my team is really ducked up. For some reason (I think I drunkenly found it funny to make my apparent team value really low) I swapped out some of my highest value players for 4.5m shitty ones, now I cant fix it and my season is probably already over.

      Anyway, I send my details out to the general internet public in a desperate plea for someone to help do my fantasy football team for me (transfers, sub order and all)

      Sorry to all those prepared people with loads of time on their hands who did their teams weeks in advance.. I know you're tired of reading our poor moans... but....

      Some people are reporting that half of the users have 'disappeared' from their leagues.

      Does this not imply that, perhaps, the 'check your login details and try again' message might actually mean that your account no longer exists?

      I'm panicking slightly, pretty much lost a tenner in my money league and the season hasn't even started 🙁

        No it doesnt, I am in fpl - and what it has done is dropped 5 latest people of my mini lge table - oddly enough they are under admin, so must be in the back end database somewhere.

        Another website 'bug'
